Where can I find Ginger EO and Jasmine EO?

I want to use some ginger EO and can't seem to find it.

I know I found some jasmine EO somewhere but I think its probably too pricey at this time... maybe someone knows of an affordable one.

All of these places have very nice EOs. If you send AT an email they will send you a bulk password to buy in larger quantities. I have oils from all 4 of these places and have been very pleased with the quality. A couple of them have some unusual oils. Btw, check your PM.

I'm also on the lookout for good hydrosols and floral waters. Unless I can make it on my own. Eg, jasmine floral water.

On the ginger, note that fresh is different from root. Fresh(and CO2) smell like fresh ginger. Root smells like sweaty feet.

Haha! Eden Botanicals has a Butter CO2 Extract. It actually sounds interesting if you read the reviews.

This is where I get some of my essential oils and they do have floral waters as well- I get the lavender often

Mountain rose herbs is another place- snowdrift had some good oils I am missing them!

Thanks for the links. I love the information I am getting.

For now I settled on a ginger FO. I ordered Ginger Passion from Peaks. I just can't afford ginger EO and even if I could it would still drive the price up for those soaps I made with it. So I will try the ginger FO and see if that will suffice for now.

Forget the jasmine. Yowzer! The price is through the roof! I will just keep trying to find a suitable jasmine FO for CP.

An inexpensive version of Jasmine in EO form would be to try it in the wax. CG offers that and others might too.

You might try AH/RE Jasmine by ky. They have three different Jasmines CB. It soaped nicely with no a/d but it was a little light at 1oz pp, so you might want to take that up a notch if you try it. I would go for samples as they are all soap safe. HTH

Steve-- which AH Jasmine did you soap-- or which do you like best? I am really missing CS Honeysuckle Jasmine. I used to soap it before they changed it to candles only. Sigh.

Scented-- I never thought about jasmine wax. Will check out Camden Grey.

The ky version. It's not too sweet or cloying but a little light. Just By Nature (Southwest now) used to carry Honeysuckle Blossoms which was very easy to soap but a little light. You might combine the two in a 50/50 and see what you think. HTH

I have EBB's Wild Honeysuckle and it soaps like a dream! No A&D and it sticks in CP. Its a beautiful honeysuckle scent and I love it and so do my customers. No jasmine notes but its perfect cause I just wanted a straight soap safe honeysuckle and when I found this one I quit looking.

As far as jasmine goes I think with its high price the best I can do is wait or find a blend with some jasmine in it. I was just hoping that jasmine EO was affordable and that would have been perfect. Guess its not meant to be.

No jasmine EO isn't cheap or close to affordable. Unfortunately, but the globs of wax I have throw pretty well. Not sure how it would fair in soap though in all honesty.
