MoonShadow
Yesterday's project. I made these for a beachside bead and art gallery. They're soy pillars, scented vanilla. I embedded a vintage mermaid graphic in the 9 inch, and then blinged them up with vintage lace, beads, sea glass and an enameled star fish... soapbuddy
They are pretty, but do people take the decorations off before they burn them? I would think things like lace would be a fire hazard.
MoonShadow
Yes, there's instructions that come with them to remove the embellishments before burning. The lace is attached by the pearls, which are just short pins.

EvyStar
Good Morning! I have been experimenting with decorative pillar candles the last few months. I am looking to stock some of them at my market stall, however would first like to do some further research to find out if pillar candles with embossed tissue paper or images are a hazard to burn? Scented
Good Morning! I have been experimenting with decorative pillar candles the last few months. I am looking to stock some of them at my market stall, however would first like to do some further research to find out if pillar candles with embossed tissue paper or images are a hazard to burn?Yes and yes. You can get away from it other ways, like by making a flameless candle ... there are flickering lights. You can also make hurricanes, but the safest would be to make flameless.Decorated pillars are lovely, but more of a risk because you can't guarantee a person buying one will undress it when they burn it.
