  1. Not too sure either what might have happened, but I have had a yank** candle do that on a warmer. I thought it could have been one of 2 things at the time. 1) It was from me heating, then cooling, then heating etc etc causing stress on the glass. Or 2) it just happened to be a faulty container that slipped through inspection. Sorry to here it happened to you and your friend!!
  2. Absolutely gorgeous! And the scent sounds very nice!!
  3. Very nice! I'm impressed with the iMovie software too! Keep 'em coming!
  4. Thanks lmc and Aimee81! That gives me a good starting place. I poured three testers of each scent and labeled them to try melting tests at 7, 10 and 14 days to see how it does. I thought soy took longer than parasoy to cure, but wanted to make sure.
  5. I was wondering how long most of you allow your soy tarts to cure? I will be pouring CBA with 25% PB & 6% FO into 2 oz portion cups and clamshells. TIA!! CCG
  6. They do look too nice to burn! But I bet they smell heavenly when you do light them. Great job!
  7. Welcome to the board, MrsB! I too would be hesitant to leave something like that plugged in for a prolonged period of time. But I errr on the better safe than sorry theory. I HAVE burned my warmers for 8-12 hours at a time but always periodically checked back on them. That's what happens when you grow up though in the home of a fireman!
  8. I think the hurricane idea would be the most feasible or the one where the candle is made with the cremains but without a wick. And Whisper Girl --- LOLOLOL I almost spit my tea onto my keyboard And the sad thing is, I could see that accidentally happening with my family!
  9. I liked the green but LOVE the tri-colored! BEAUTIFUL!!
  10. Your candles look gorgeous and so do your surroundings! I'm green with envy as we are at 25F here and WINDY! lolol
  11. Am loving the purple too! Palm wax is so darned pretty.

  14. Couldn't agree more. And I would def. make it a point to talk to her. Publically dissing you just isn't right and a real friend wouldn't do that.
  15. Oooh those are nice. I especially love the heavy crystal jar! Great job!
  16. I think they look fantastic! Def filled to the right level GREAT beer!
  17. Very nice! I really like the hearts. They are really pretty.

  19. I love the loaf candles. I would want to burn those. The others are so cute too. I would never want to burn the snowman tho, unless you were willing to do refills lolol. Great job!
  20. *raises hand* Guilty! lolol If a candle smells really awesome I am just loathe to put it out sometimes. That's a lovely candle Stella, I am envious!
  21. They are gorgeous! Love them both but especially the purple!!!
  22. You'll fall in love with it! I think the people who smelled strong mint are thinking of their Chocolate Mint. That is the flip of Dark Chocolate Mint, with the mint being the predominant fragrance with the choc secondary. The Chocolate Mint is green and the Dark Choco Mint is brown. You'll love them both!! Please post if you are able to closely dupe the scent of the DCM! Good luck!
