  1. I did heat it up to wipe it; that Ecosoya PB hardens quick, lol. I'll try the Goo Gone. Thanks
  2. I know this has been discussed recently, but I can't find it. I'm having trouble getting all the scent out. I now have coconut lime verbena with a side order of pink sugar..... and now I can't get blue spruce out & I wanna pour something! lol. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of soaking it in vinegar now.
  3. I wanted to try some more Just Scent oils with their sample sale. Any must haves? Looking at Cactus & Sea Salt....Bahama Mama...Hot Buttery Cinnamon...Tahitian Tiare...Ocean... any reviews on these?
  4. I just used some for the first time last night. Love how those little suckers fall right out of the cups. How long do they typically need to cure before testing?
  5. I went back and looked at my notes, comparing prices for the same jars/lids. Candlescience (NC) charges me less for shipping than Fillmore (PA); almost a $5 difference. Cierra was the next runner-up, lol. Now I know why everyone uses jelly jars
  6. I've been hearing that every time I pull up to the drive through window... or it could be the Nag Champa spray I made to keep in the car.
  7. If they're for non-candles, couldn't you get them at Dollar Tree, Big Lot's, etc & then maybe get the lids online if you need to? That would be so expensive, imo, for shipping I just went through all the suppliers last night for jars & it's disgusting when you see the shipping costing more than jars & lids....

  9. Just got the Candlemaker Store email... they have Caribbean Salsa on sale for $13.80 for 16 oz.

  11. Clothespins will work if you have nothing else. I've found them to be so lightweight that they like to move easily. You can use high temp glue; I'm just too impatient, lol. I like to slap the sticker on & go.
  12. ½ oz pp Maple Butter.. success HT in minutes. Love it... especially after burning Amish Harvest earlier today & if I hadn't literally looked at the candle, I would never have known it was lit; barely a throw in a small room. Oh well... I'm going to enjoy this for now, lol.
  13. Yes, Candle Maker's Store. I haven't bought many FOs there. But the geranium does smell good OOB. I just haven't been inclined to use it yet.. maybe closer to spring
  14. ooooh, good catch, lol. I like the wick stickers from CMS. I desperately need a centering gizmo..gotta find one to fit my jars though
  15. Have you tried Scarlet Geranium from CMS? I have it, but haven't put in wax yet. Smells good OOB.
  16. Sounds pretty good. Now do a forum search for each wax and piece together all the info to get a good starting point.
  17. Do you have the link for that kit? I don't see it. I found it..
  18. Scales to weigh your wax & FO. I use skewers for stirring; otherwise, something to stir with. What kinds of wax did you get?
  19. Are you using a large or small pour pot? You may have too much water in the bottom of your pot.
  20. Holy Crap-oli.............. you made my brain hurt, lol.
  21. Too bad Millcreek doesn't have an actual store, lol.
  22. I use single-pours too......tell that to my candles! lol.. I'm experimenting with a few waxes right now. It does help to have an idea of what the others do. You can appreciate a quality in one over the other and then pick your poison I've done a few with 6006 and appearance-wise, it's the best I've done thus far. That stuff makes gorgeous candles. Haven't tested them yet though. Fingers crossed...
  23. We'll send prayers your way. I'm down here in Kokomo, btw.
