Wow, I'm still in the 1 lb-1 oz-1 pot phase, lol. I am curious, though, how the rest of you do the whole cool-slowly-methods when you're doing such large batches. I put my 3 or 4 in my little countertop oven and that takes care of any problems to my tops. How the heck do you manage so many at once?

Major headache today; not fully functioning here... can you explain that again? About how you measure now as opposed to before, because it's not computing in my brain..lol

Where are you at in Indiana? You can pick suppliers closest to you to save on the shipping. & you can buy wax in very small amounts to start out, until you find one you're happy with. I've been here for a month.... & the general consensus is, in my opinion, don't buy your candle supplies at craft/hobby stores. Stick with the suppliers that everyone here uses. Candlescience, for instance, seems to ship pretty quick. It shouldn't take you a week to get wax.

A ha...I had never looked at the "Novelty" page of SOS. Yup...

Well, for the heck of it, I moved it from the end of my kitchen (which evidently is in a vacuum) & set it on the ledge that separates my kitchen/dining from my living room. Lo & behold, I could smell it throughout my living room! Yea So, I'm a little more confident about this one & will continue test burning it tomorrow.

OK, so I found another website that offers over a thousand scents to choose from..... is that for real? How many years would that take to test over 1,000 scents??? Or are they re-selling from multiple places?

Do you feel the price was worth it? ($3.25 for ½ oz) (can't tell how much 1 oz is...2 minutes and it's still loading to my cart..)

Got it.. I just lit the blueberry again for the 4th burn. Another question I had- do you always burn it completely or is there a point where you say "okay, this is a dud" & start over? So far, it's fair in a small room, but a dud in a larger room.

Sorry, I think it was the analogy- healthcare to candles... I just hoped you didn't classify someone as a "jerk" simply because they asked for a reduced rate due to lack of insurance.

But it is customary to charge a lower rate to the uninsured...that's not unusual for patients to ask. Insurance companies never pay the full amount they are billed, so why should uninsured patients? steps off soapbox...

So 3 hours burns till it's done. When does the power-burn come into play?

Sorry to hijack this thread again... this is 3 hours into the 3rd burn. Is there hope for the hangup? How many 3 hour burns do I do? Umm... I have another candle in this batch with a smaller wick that I could yank out & put in a size up from this one also. Any advice appreciated.

Speaking of MP..... this is 2 hours into the second burn. (415, ECO12, 1½ oz FO, 2¾" diam.) Thoughts? HT is just so-so.. flame is just starting to jump a little...
