    Big Oops

Never? How do you do that? Mine was horrible, lol.
  6. The magic erasers are *amazing*. I would try that for sure.
  7. I would check several suppliers and do the math with shipping. And also the delivery time! lol
  8. I really don't even know what constitutes "ASTM certified", but I was on Candlemaker's store looking at their new sale stuff when I saw this post. So I emailed them to ask.. here's what they said: "ASTM certification does not apply to glassware, so the answer to you question would be no they are not, because it is not a required certification." Thank you, The Candlemaker's Store ???????????

    Big Oops

So, on my 2nd batch of m/p....... after I had it all stirred & everything added & ready to pour, it hardened up. I finally figured out that I completely forgot to cover it when melting. So, can my lumpy, hard bowl of soap be salvaged? lol & can I just say that candlemaking for me is sooooooooo not messy compared to soap.. :smiley2:
  10. This all confuses me.. she also has "honeysuckle" trademarked... does that mean she's the only one who can have a honeysuckle scented perfume?? http://www.annieoakley.com/honeysuckle-perfume-spray.aspx
  11. You may really want to go to the eye dr.. when you get scratched corneas, it is *miserable*.
  12. I have mixed a little 6006 with 415 & it smoothed out the tops pretty well.
  13. I'm assuming we're talking about Nature's Garden's Wild, Wild West? I emailed to ask them since I didn't see anything on their site about it.. "We also do not allow for the usage of our trademarked fragrance names which are listed under our NG original scents unless the names are used for finished products".
  14. There's a sticky at the top of this forum on soy/FO combinations. Have you tried pouring 415 at a lower temp? Most folks here pour around 100°, or when it begins to get filmy/almost slushy.
  15. An NG Original Fragrance! Natures Garden Wild Wild West Fragrance oil is a wild and sexy accord, combining top notes of Tumble Weeds, Basil Leaves, and Tonka Beans; followed by middle notes of Brushed Suede, Earthy Patchouli, and Amber Stone; all sitting on manly base notes of Aged Saddle Leather, Red Cedar, and Full Musk. Gitty Up Cowboy!
  16. Actually I never heard of them; just got lucky

  18. I couldn't really tell what all the prices were. It was all up on shelves behind the counter with the EOs. Nice to know it's there if I need it in a pinch though. And w/o shipping costs. I did pick up a little bottle of veg. glycerin that I couldn't find on Elements.
  19. Here are some supplies in IL. You might price them with the shipping vs. other places. Jeez, did I forget the link.... http://www.soapandthings.com/c-149-candle-containers-jars.aspx
  20. Is there a health food store anywhere near you? I went in to mine today to have a look at their EOs & I found darn near everything I just ordered from Elements, lol. (not counting the m/p bases). A lot of oils, butters, clay, EOs..
  21. The website I referred the OP to for cheaper 6098 ($17.95) also refers to it as "Victory Blend". Maybe that's a better known name? Seems like I remember seeing it by that name somewhere..
