  1. :yay: :yay: Congrats on the nice article, Glo :smiley2:
  2. They have MASON written on 2 sides and the other 2 sides have measurement markings. HTH, GLo
  3. I've met a "corn bag" lady at several shows we have done. They really do well but hers were a bit more elaborate I think. Made with the brocade type material, perhaps a placemat. I made some rice ones at home for us after I saw hers. Kids like them for taking to bed with them in the winter. Glo
  4. Very beautiful. My old boss brought me a pair of pillows done like this when he visited his parents in Pakistan. He was a great boss!! Glo
  5. [quote name=pixisprkl;698407 With food products' date=' I think it is a different ball game. You have to be inspected by the Health Department and have to have a separate (not your kitchen) building that you do your cooking in and it all has to be up to code. Food is a whole different game but it is being hit hard also. We have a small concession stand and only do stuff for friends a few times a year. Two week ends ago we did our biggie festival. Food cost us around 35% more than last year. We sold less, and people were looking for the cheapest menu items we had. We also noticed more people with coolers and their own food this year. Glo Hey, here is the link where the doll artist made some moohla!! These are faboulous creations!! http://cgi.ebay.com/WHITE-PUMPKIN-on-CROW-Doll-Folk-Art-Halloween-EHAG-ooak_W0QQitemZ300253088790QQihZ020QQcategoryZ158655QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  6. I don't know Gran. I haven't looked for them since I got mine several years ago. I rarely get to a Kmart anymore. I think they are a slick to use mold though if you can find them. I have the 3 slot ones-so 3 logs at a time. Glo
  7. Don't forget the silverware trays. Martha Stewart from Kmart has the 3 tray unit that is perfect and cheap. Glo
  8. How about Earth Berry or Harvest Berry to get people thinking along the lines of earthy colors? Glo
  9. You can buy a black drawing salve called icthamol ointment. HTH, Glo
  10. Tropical Spice Hawaiian Spice Island Spice Glo
  11. I tried this and it came out nice. It only lasted a couple of days though and the leaves dried and began to curl. Wonder how you might preserve it for longer display? I used Red Maple Tree leaves as it's not autumn here yet. Glo
  12. Haven't tried those ones but if you like Jovan White Musk her's is wonderful. Dead on dupe. Glo
  13. Oh Inez, So sorry to hear of the trouble this man has put you through. Hope it all straightens out for you. Hugs, Glo
  14. Yep , I got an email for the going out of biz sale 2 weeks ago. Glo
  15. Think I got one of those last year-it was pretty expensive if you were going to sell them. Just picked up one for myself cause it was so cute. Glo
  16. I am so sorry to hear that Spalissa. Honey Gingerbread was formulated to be skin safe, and is according to our manufacturer. We have had two people(Heirloom and one other) out of hundreds of purchasers say it turned their skin red in leave on product, hence the blog I added to the scent description. Users have not noted any problems in wash off products like soaps. Glo
  17. All very cute stuff. Is that embroidery or studs on the bags?? Glo OK, now I see it's not embroidery, is it paint??
  18. Chip, That is too cool!! Now something else I'm wanting. Those blankets are so nice. The actual edgery thingy looks not too complicated if you wanted to make one yourself. Hmmm:smiley2: Glo
  19. Yes, I was thinking of the paraffin therapy for arthritis. Warm enough to melt but not burn. Glo
  20. Angie, That is so cute. Love the fabric. We don't have a Hancock's around here. Just JoAnn's & Wally World. I did finally get my new machine for Christmas and have to get my butt sewing again. Haven't really even figured it out yet, very different from my oldie but goodie machine. Hub got me a Janome. Glo
  21. DeAnna, Good find-similar to my idea but easier for a crocheter. Glo
  22. I don't think it would pull apart as long as it is turned under about an inch or so(that way your hole will be sure to be through both layers, if you miss the second layer I would think it might fray with washing). If you don't turn the edge under it will absolutely fray apart. I would probably try holes about every 1/2 inch (closer would be nice but I think that would be too difficult). Glo
  23. OK, this is purely a guess but I would do it this way if it was me. If you want to crochet them together I would turn under the edge of the flannel and try to punch holes with a paper punch or large darning needle through both layers of fabric. Then use those holes to crochet the two blanket sides together with a single crochet stitch. Hope this makes sense.:smiley2: Glo
  24. This was her glycerin reference. I have had my salt bars sweat, and they have been moist on a cold morning show also. I sell my soap naked. ( The soap not me. ) Glo
