  1. ok well here is mine....lol I have about a 10 x 10 room all for my candle stuff. This is actually clean and organized compared to what it was awhile ago :-) I still have som eboxes on the floor for shipping, bubblewrap and packing peanuts, etc. My old store sign is up top on the bookcases along with some boxes that I just don't have room for. It works for me and I am thankful to finally have a dedicated room where I can close the door behind me!
  2. Not too much this weekend. Little man and I are both sick. I did manage to make 15 though (Gingerbread, Hollyberry, Balsam and Cedar and Mulberry)
  3. Have used a glue gun for 7 years and never had a problem. Don't know what I would do without it :-)
  4. Great idea. Looks great! I just started making tarts not too long ago so I just had mine on the table. I mean they were nice and neat but I love this look much better!!!
  5. I agree with Trapp. I like the website and I would want a scent on it not just the description.
  6. Long day tomorrow craft show from 9-7. Then Sunday have to make a small fundraiser order then Amazing Grace (Philosophy), Pumpkin Brulee, Cinnamon, Gingerbread, Hot Apple Pie, Coffe... Alot of fall and holiday scents for me this weekend!
  7. If they are all the same jar I try to keep in the box with the dividers than I put peanuts and extra cardboard around the entire box, etc. Othyer wise I bubblewrap and wrap with cardboard and double the outside again with cardboard. I usually pack like Ft. Knox and the post office seems to be drop kicking my boxes lately. Have had alot broken. All you can do is pack the best you can and put insurance on them.
  8. I have had this happen to me twice personally. The first time the spent a few hundred but after fighting and some time I got it back, the second time they spent almost $1000 but they were still in the approval stages when I caught it. Thank goodness none went through. If it were not for a phone call I got asking if I made this purchase I would have been too late to stop some of them. These poeple use programs to find peoples numbers. The sda part is they know your name and home address also then buy stuff but have it shipped to another address.... Sorry you have to go through this. I check my banking daily to make sure nothing off is going on.
  9. I know when I use sprinkles I put them on while the wax is still a bit tacky. Right when the wax starts to get a film on it if that makes sense?
  10. Well thank you for pointing that out. Sorry we cannot all be perfect!! (Is anyone?? lol)A friend was telling me where she watched a video I thought she said CS it could have been another one but they def. recommended the 6006. I have seen it myself. I personally would not use a container wax for tarts. Simple as that but everyone has their own opinion. What may work for one may not work for another :-)
  11. Do not use a container wax for tarts. It is too soft and not made for tarts. Most suppliers have a dedicated wax for tarts, votives, etc. Trust me it will be 100% better. I use ky tart wax and never have had any problems with my clamshells.
  12. Someone else said where candle science recommends 6006 for clamshells also. That is just plain dumb. It is a container wax and too soft. Unless you want to fight and dig out the tarts!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe a candle company recommends such a dumb thing! Your clamshell tarts should crack and fall right out!
  13. I poured some mistletoe tarts, grannys pecan pie, cinnamon buns, hot apple pie, cinn apple berry that os all for today. We will see what tomorrow brings!
  14. I have found that Fillmore usually has the best price compared to other suppliers. Unless someone is having a sale, etc. I usually just stick with them.
  15. I used to to use dye blocks went to liquid and never looked back!
  16. Yes Kathy is awesome there (customer service) Super fast to respond if you ever have questions.
  17. I have certain oils that I only buy throught them! Have used them for about 6 years now!
  18. I just poured a bunch...Monkey Farts. Maple Sugar, Warm Vanilla Sugar , Creme Brulee, Watermelon, Black Cherry, Pumpkin Brulee, Cranberry and Strawberry!
  19. Does anyone know where I can get this???
  20. EBAY all the way! I pay around $20 for my set of 5 and in the store it is about $50
  21. Make sure the turkey fryer has a spout at the bottom. I have 2 materbuilt but the new models are made different and square and do not have spouts. Look for the round ones. EBAY or Amazon is best.
  22. I too have been using baby wipes for years! Works like a champ.
  23. wow I just read my post back LOLOL Sorry for all the typos I really can spell! lolol
  24. Same here I would rather take more than not enough. My best sellers I take around 10 each then my various scents 3-4 of each. Holidays I bring extra holiday scents also. I always bring $100 worth of change plenty of ones, fives and tens. I keep a notebokk of everything I sell. Make sure you have bags. I spend the money and get the nice handle bags. I can;t stand if I bought candles and someone handed me a plastic bag! UGH lol If it is a larger show offer to hold their bag at your table. I notice people do like to carry heavy things around a show. (Make them pay forst that way you know they will be back) Greet everyone who comes to your table no matter how many times you say it throughout the day! Tell them they can smell anything they would like. I keep one each on the table with the lid off so they can pick it up and smell each scent. Tidy up your table throughout the day keep jars straight, etc. Bring plenty of business cards. Have pricing on the table where they can easily see them. I always include a card and tell them I have a website and ship anywhere in the US, etc. I have met some of the nicest people at craft shows. I lovwe doing them!!! Hope this helps :-)
