I did not like the Vanilla Lavender in a 50/50 blend. Too much lavender, and I think that KY has one of the best Van. Lavender fragrances out there. I would highly recommend KY and pass on the JS. Also tried the Vanilla Bean and it was weaker than Ms. Randy's IMO.

Your wicking placement looks great. Don't know what kind of wax you are using, but the CD-16's are much too large for that container. Depending on the wax, and also the fragrance, I would go down to either three CD-12's or CD-14's.

Make that "3" for KY's Cool Citrus Basil. Wonderful!

I love the Coconut Macaroons....wonderful blend of vanilla and coconut in 50/50. Also, the Buttons & Bows (on clearance) is a nice clean scent with a slight flower to it. I plan on trying more in the future.

Thanks ladies, I just ordered the S. Pea and Storm Watch from Millcreek and a sample of Mango & Papaya and Dreamcatcher. I agree, I would love to see 4oz. samples too.

Holly, I ordered one from Cajun Candle Supply and it should get here today....so I will let you know how this is. It was recommended by someone on the board as being the same as the VS dupe and like WSP, but more affordable. I was trying to decide between Cajun and Snowtops. This may just be a softer scent though. Results later.

I like the Strawberry Patch from Keystone Candle Supply. Have used this one for a couple of years and it is a true strawberry. As for Strawberry Cheesecake....Alabaster has a strong one that I have used in a soy blend. Hope this helps a little, I have also heard that the Scented Bean has a good strawberry shortcake. Strawberry is one of my least favorites, but my customers love both of the ones mentioned above. I use the Keystone St. Patch in my gel pies and they smell like crazy.

You may have poured too hot...but to remedy the tops...you could wait until it cooled and then do a tiny repour...that would certainly take away the look and give you a smooth finished top.

NG's Oceans & Ocean Mist - difference?

I have used both of these in J223 and also a soy blend, and found the Ocean Mist to be stronger. I could not get much throw with the plain Ocean. JMO -
I have never used Daystar, but I do want to try her oils. They get rave reviews and she is a sweetie. I have used FOH a couple of times. I like the Spiced Pumpkin from her, and her apple strudel gets huge reviews. The Johnson's Bedtime Bath should be another good one too. Sorry, that's all I can help with.

I love their Apple Cinnamon...great scent, could double as Apple Pie. Sell out of the stuff all year long. Christmas Cabernet - great red wine....Strawberry Patch...Fall Festival....

It is wonderful. As someone mentioned....not too heavy on the cin. Really yummy! And, her Christmas Past, Orange C. Cake, Apple Jack & Peel and Birthday Cake are wonderful too. Can't beat her oils.

I smelled BCN's and it did not smell anything like F&M at all. Thought it was awful! I use and love the one from Tony's. HTH

Never tried JS....but if you want a strong Harvest in either J50,J223 or soy mixed with J223....try BCN's Harvest. It is awesome.
