  1. I did not see the BNL oils on the BCN site. Is she selling them now?
  2. I used to use NG Peach, but don't think it is as strong anymore. Rustic Essentials has a Just Peachy (orignally Chermarks) that is good. The scented bean is good too, but a little pricey. I am going to try the Peach (not peach pie filling) from KY next. Have heard good reviews on this one. It may be me, but I think this fragrance is hard to find a really true peach.
  3. Aimee, I use the J223 from Alabaster and the following fragrances, which I have used for years. Blueberry Pie (strong and wonderful...may have to cut back on FO..to blend) Birthday Cake - Great Kudzu- Great Lemon Drop Spice Cake Sage & Citrus Pie Crust Dickens Christmas (for the holidays) Cranberry Spice These are the ones that I use and have had luck with. HTH
  4. Now I know the difference between the two.
  5. Should have posted my first reply to Mr. G....sorry Angela. I guess it is time for me to turn it off.
  6. Angela, It depends on how strong you like your lavender. I personally think that Peaks is too strong. I did like Lavender from Candles and Supplies in PA, and if you want a wonderful Lav.Vanilla...KY has the best ever.
  7. Yes I am confuzzeled!!! And the scented bean is expensive...dang! Someone is sending me a sample of Millcreeks, so I will test and let you guys know. Thanks!
  8. Have never tried it, but have heard reviews on Taylored Concepts "Beachin". Maybe someone who has used this will chime in. This is one that I want to try myself.
  9. To me Cajun's Cherry Pie is a real true red cherry. A little pricey, but great. Smells like cherry, not black cherry.
  10. I use Blue Raspberry from Rustic Essentials and absolutely love it. I use it in gel and J-223 and also a soy blend. To me it is the best Raspberry out there. HTH
  11. Have to place an order for Med. Fig and Almond Pastries. But, need Cinnamon or Red Hot Cinnamon and Pomegranate also. Has anyone tried the Pomegranate, and if so, is it like BCN? And also how is the cinnamon from Peaks? Thanks!
  12. Looks like Peaks has the majority vote!
  13. Looking for a true soft rose fragrance...not overpowering. Any recommendations welcome.
  14. Tradewinds Kiwi Kicker is awesome. Used alone or blended with other melons.
  15. Will try those two strawberries. Keep me posted on the Honeysuckle from Farmhouse.
  16. Sharon, I will have to give that wax a try. I'm in Atlanta, and hate the shipping charges though. I'm orignally from Beaver Falls, Pa. Been in Atlanta for the last 24 years. But, I sure do miss the snow (some of it) and Pittsburgh and all the good ethnic food. Have a class reunion coming up there this year. I wanted to try ICS Raspberry Lemonade, thanks for the review. Have you tried any of her fresh picked strawberries?
  17. Sharon, I use J-223 sometimes, and for the Honeydew...I use a soy/J-223 blend. Get more throw from the blend and I like cleaner burn. As for wicks. I normally use the CD's. In a jelly jar 10's,12's,(14's for harder to wick ones). I like the burn. For some of my bakery things that are molded I use the LX 20's. I have tried the LX in the jelly jars and keepsake jars, but still need to test them. For example...I tested the Honeydew in a soy blend in a little ridged votive from Michaels and it took a CD-10...the 8 burned out. What are you using?
  18. Sharon, I will keep you posted. I poured the Mulberry Twist tonight and it seems to be a lighter Mulberry, will let it cure for a while. At least, it could be used as a mixer. Wonder how the Mango is? Will wait for your report on the honeysuckle. Thanks!
  19. Sharon, You are right....the honeydew is wonderful. Throws really well. My other lb. was Mulberry Twist. Have not poured that one yet. I want to try the Honeysuckle and St. Shortcake next. Thanks for the word on the honeydew.
