  1. I was very dissapointed. It doesn't smell like a bonfire at all.
  2. Thank you for all of your suggestions. I think that I am going to try The Natural Artisian since I have tried all the others mentioned. I live in WI and I am surrounded by pine tree's and I guess I am very picky. Happy Holidays!
  3. Just wondering what is the most realistic pine that throws well in soy. I have tried about 15-20 different companies and so far the best is cc's pine and soy candle.coms pine. Wondering if anyone has tried yankee's dupe of c-mas wreath or windsong balsalm from wholesale supplies plus and how well do they do in soy. So many companies say that they smell exactly like a pine tree and they smell like pinesol. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone:D Turkey dinner , football, and cold beer:drool:
  4. Willow Woods has a nice cmas eve type.
  5. I have tried about 15 or 20 different cmas tree scents and cc winter wodland whisper is about the most realistic I have found. I also like willow woods cmas eve type.
  6. My all time favorite and best seller at cmas is .6 oz Willow Woods Cmas wreath, .6 oz. Candle Cocoon Winter Woodlands Whisper and .6 oz. Just Scent Cranberry Cobbler.
  7. Two cd 10's work well for me in the 16 oz. square mason jars.
  8. I was just wondering if it is possible to make a preblended soy wax with beeswax?
  9. I learned the hard way. I have been making candles for 11 years and I usually order samples. I took Becky's word that the certain fragrances that I picked would work well in soy.It also shows on their website which fragrances throw well in soy.So I decided to order 18lbs. of fragrances and maybe 4 out of the 18 choices worked.I have about 6 different soy waxes and it didn't make a difference which ones I tried them in.I also bought 11 lbs. of their parasoy and had the cmas tree fragrance start on fire. What a site to see a 3 and a half inch flame. Becky told me it was because I was using cd wicks which burn hot. That's funny because I made about 10,000 candles with cd wicks in the last 3 years and have never had a problem.I could go on about credit card #'s sent through a email even though a phone call was requested but I have had enough venting. :angry2: :angry2:
  10. I checked into this a couple of years ago with Bel Aire. They had a 25lb. min. They also told me that you could choose the strength of each fragrance. If you wanted a 10.00 lb. of cranberry or 20.00 lb. of cranberry it was up to you.
  11. I am burning Snowtops mulled cider as I type. Very good throw in soy:yay:
  12. I double wick my soy candles with cd wicks. Don't be afraid to trim the wicks really short when you make them. My customers can't believe how they do not have to trim the wicks. I trim them to about 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch before they are even lit. A big isssue I feel on wicking is the opening of the jar. I use the 16 oz. square mason jars and do not have any problems with wicking.
  13. As far as the wax changing from batch to batch I have not noticed this.I have been using this wax for almost 4 years and probably have made about 15,000 candles between my dad and I and we havn't noticed any problems even with the candles being dull. Of the 5 soy waxes that I have tried eco soy 125 I believe was the worst soy wax that I tried.
  14. I have been using soy for about 4 years. I have tried probably about 5 soy waxes. As far as overall appearance, scent throw, and easy to use I would have to say that I like EZ soy the best.
