    did you ever try the Oregon Trails True Musk? Was it like the coty in the brown bottle that was an oil with a dipstick? I tried the Egyptian and that was not the one I am looking for. Ever find the coty scent we are trying to find?

    Hi Moonrose64 Did you ever order the Musk? Was it the True Musk or Egyptian Musk? I had tried the Egyptian and it was not the Coty Wild Musk oil in the bottle with dipstick I looooved in the 70s. Did you try True Musk? Was it what we were hunting for?

    I couldn't find either but I did find a board that said they wouldn't buy Walmart's brand or Better HOme and Gardens brands there because one actually shattered and lids were a nightmare. Mostly canning folks on the board but all agreed stick with Made in USA Ball jars. I get all my jars from Fillmore. Love that company and great customer service. For me I think I'll stick with Fillmore and Made in USA!

    I order from Candle Science in NC but I am in VA. Really Really fast delivery. Candlewic in Pa? I check several sites and figure costs with shipping and of course go with the lowest price.

    I have done HP in the BB molds from the co-op and had no problems but I do have a dumb question...can I use the silicone molds to make CPOP?

    OMG me too! When I saw this I did the happy dance...hope it's the one that was in a brown bottle and was more of an oil with a dipstick....I coould drink the stuff I loved it soooo much and have been looking for it for years too! Off to Oregon Trails to buy Egyptian Musk

    Appears Midwest Candle is a different company and used to be Gelluminations. Not very good reports on Gelluminations. I was trying to find out info on Midwest Fragrance too...guess we'll keep checking back LOL

    JanetsCandles is right . I once used a product from www.smooth-on.com, had seen Martha Stewart use it and the video was pretty good. I did made a mold for strawberries and it really came out nice. the site has all kinds of mold products but if you click on candlemaking it will show the videos. Good luck!

    I tried Candlewic and I don't know if its a dupe but very strong in tarts! Candlewic had Fig Henri Bendel on sale and so I decided to try and sooo glad I did.

    Hi Scented, I think the minimum was like $250. Could have changed. I don't have wholesale access anymore. She has 16oz for $37.99 retail. I really liked it. Never mixed with anything just used straight. Supposed to ease muscle pain and it seemed to work for me!

    Thanks all for the info...I will say Angel type is superb. Hillbilly homebrew just didn't do it for me and I really liked that oob and ct. CS is still on the top of my list for quite a few oils but NG does have some great ones for soaping.

    Do you charge a higher price than your regular "retail" price for fundraisers? Researching this to do my first one. Some sites say charge 4x what it costs you to make the product. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thanks. What kind of percentage would you get?

    Maybe it's just me but I really like quite a few oils from NG for soaps but don't have much luck with the candles. Anybody else? I use mainly for tarts and use PB soy and sometimes even blend with other soys. Still can't get a really good throw like I do with CS. CS seems to be the best for candles.

    Have you tried www.vanyulay.com She uses emu in all her products and sells just the oil too. You can register for wholesale but she does have a minimum which is a bit high for me.
