  2. I tried melting a bit of color in the wax then using it as a liquid....didn't work out well at all. Next I tried using powder color, as that is all I have. It's ok.. still not nearly what I wanted. Guess liquid color is the answer. I'll be buying some soon to try out. Then I hope to post some pictures. Cindy

  6. Cinnamon sticks ... again not suggested, but I know people sell molds you can make wax ones with Do you know where they sell this mold??? I would love to purchase it. I make a lot of candles in the fall with Cinnamon sticks... Your right... They do burn....and smell horrible while they do it. Thanks Cindy
  7. Those are so beautiful. I have a question..... Do you have to use liquid dye? I don't really care of it, I prefer to use the powder. The liquid seems to have a smeel to me and I always had a mess on my hands. Any help? Thanks Cindy

  9. My sister used the heat gun, but put a piece of cardboard inside the bag when she did it.
  10. They are embossed. We ordered the bags off of usbox.com and they are the cheaper gauze bags. You have to be very careful when heating them, but I think they turned out great. Thanks for looking. Cindy

  14. I'm busy pouring chunk candles. I make up a bunch of different chucks keep them all in bags then during the week I can make the candles. It's starting to get too hot in Florida for candle making... not sure what I am going to do next month when the real heat hits... I did buy a fan to use at the Eola Market on Sundays. I hope this will keep my candles from melting. Cindy

  18. I bought a Coleman Camping table. It's light, folds in half and has a handle. I bought mine at a Sport Authority. Cindy

  20. I love the candles... but I do have a question. I'm sure it's a dumb one..but... How do you make the crushed can candles? I can probably figure out that you use an old can...but how do you get it out of the can? I would really like to try them.,
  21. These are so beautiful.... Two questions. Where is a good site to order pressed flowers??? and Tucker what is tacky wax?? and where can I find it? I am still pretty new to candle making, but have dreams of someday candlemaking being my full time job. I'll try to post some pictures of the candles I make. I have learn so much on this site. Thanks everyone for sharing.

  24. WOW... that is a beautiful candle. Of course I always love what you do, and try some of your ideas... They never do look quiet like yours, but I'm still working on it. Cindy
  25. I make my own incense powder. I don't use cones or sticks. I grind up the herbs and add Makko powder for a commbustible material. I sell quiet a bit of it here in Florida. I would say go for it, but try to come up with your own scent. Lumina
