  1. Your soaps look great, and your photography is AMAZING!
  2. http://www.saveonscents.com/product_info.php/products_id/202610 HTH!
  3. What talent! Thanks for sharing. Just precious.
  4. Did my very first batch of mp with micas...I love the pop colors! Made a couple kiddie soaps with SpongeBob toys, and played a bit. Swap boxes are sitting under my craft table waiting for the last, and I'm about to brew myself a cup of Tension Tamer tea and relax.
  5. Agree, and also if you check out J&L Creations, you will find a whole list of wicking that works with EL. I use the Millennium, and have great luck with all the wicks I buy from Lorrie@J&L. Good luck, and keep us posted!
  6. You will need both to do more scents. I use both of those for the straight sided and the square mason jelly jars. It's crazy, but you have to test each scent. When I test a new fragrance in Millennium (EL) soy, I start with a 93, a 104, and a 51-32-18. Personally, I really like the 51-32-18, but my customers really dig the HTP self-trimming type, so it just depends if I'm pouring for them or for me. J&L Creations carries the HTP wicks in both sizes you mentioned. I estimate that I use an equal amount of each size HTP for the 35+ fragrances I use. HTH!
  7. Kroger only had the two red fleur de lis pictured left. I liked that the bowl was much smaller than a combo warmer, but I didn't check the bulb. I was hoping for something more holiday themed, but the cardboard kiosk was down to two warmers and a supply of melts that were a two part clamshell I thrice unsuccessfully opened. There were only a few left; I can't remember the names, but I'll ask Jesse. I did not see a price on the clams, but they did say "made with soy".
  8. Trudi, did you contact them? Msg me and let me know. Just how big do we have to be? If Kroger retails them for $16.99............................wheels turning! I'm super bogged down with school for the next two weeks(you'll see a pretty please? post soon) but if you can fb or msg me the info, I'll talk to the "bank"...he's on seven days and is kinda kissing my big ol' butt a bit over it; had to cook my own bday dinner this week, and guilt is so powerful, and if you don't manipulate it, I say "HELL YEAH"!
  9. I was only able to find one style, and they only had two left. I checked the bottom, and of course they are made in China. They seemed decently constructed. I'm trying to upload a pic...
  10. Trudi, They are on sale for $12.99 with a Kroger card. I'm heading to Bay City and Essexville Krogers tomorrow. I'll let you know if I find any.
  11. Has anyone tried any of these? They are on sale at Kroger this week; I'm hoping I can find one when I shop tomorrow. http://harmonyhomebrands.com/ http://harmonyhomebrands.com/harmony-warmers/ TIA for any information. Their selection is amazing.
  12. Ditto on the pic! Spreading the word...
  13. I hope you find some resolve, pronto. What a crap situation; I would do my best to market the best product. Good luck. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
  14. Great job! I think $12.95 is very reasonable; I'd pay up to $15 or $16 for something packaged so well. Thanks for sharing your awesome new product with us!
  15. I'm thawing some goats milk to make another big batch of Candybee's recipe for OMH m&p, then firing up the Presto for some orders...Lilac (crazy time of year for this scent I detest), as well as some Egg Nog, Coffee Caramel Cream, Sugar Cookie Brulee, Sugar Plum, and some Angel Amaretto. If I would stop procrastinating and finish the four paragraphs due tonight for class, I could get the soapies started and the wax melting. I have just found every damn excuse imaginable not to do my homework this week; Thanksgiving prep, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday...for some reason I work better under pressure. Now that all the Thanksgiving mess is over and the leftovers trashed today, I'm ready to move on and accomplish a bunch of stuff today. Hope you all had a blessed holiday.
  16. Thank you so much for the information here; I have 42 different scents poured in two sets, and they need a better home than Ziplock.
  17. You're very welcome. Thank you for the kind words!
  18. Congratulations to you. This is a wicked cool thing!
  19. I make Birthday Cake ellipso tubs and clamshells using the candy nonpareils with success, and it is my top seller; ran out at both shows the past two weeks. I bought the Great Value brand at Walmart for .82 for 2 oz. The ingredients are sugar, cornstarch, confectioners glaze, Red 3, Yellow 5, Blue 1, Yellow 6, Red 40, Carnauba Wax. Since I use a soft soy wax, this seems to work, but timing the thing is tricky. I do sometimes see some bleeding of color, but when I use it in my warmer the yellow cake colored wax does turn pink, and the little balls sink to the bottom and just stay there. I used the same scent last winter with the name Snowflake Cake and tinted it light blue (it won't stay white, even with uv inhib) but it didn't touch the number of sales this year with the new name, color, and most importantly the sprinkles!
  20. LOL...because I really need another pricey hobby/addiction! I'd have to move to a bigger house...
  21. I'm so curious about wax....has anyone ever done a swap for it? Say everyone throws in 5 lbs...and you get five diffrent waxes back to test? Does this sound as nuts as it looks when I type it? Maybe my emotions are playing with me today. But damn, how else to do it reasonably cost effective?
  22. Trudi, Have you checked with a linen service to see if you could rent it for the day? When I used to manage a banquet facility, we would order table skirting to match the wedding party colors... Good luck at your show!
