  1. Darrell, you can find a decent digital thermometer at Kmart, Walmart, or any other general discount store. Visit the kitchenware area; scales and thermometers are both available. HTH, B.
  2. Very nice work. I bet they are a great seller. Best of luck.
  3. Laura, if you find these, please let me know! My products are in a day spa run by MK consultants and family; they would love dupes of MK products, especially Bella Belara. I also have searched nearly everyone on the CT supplier link page with no success. Thanks, Brandy
  4. CAUTION! YOU MAY RECEIVE EMAILS FROM CECILIA FERNANDEZ REQUESTING YOU TO SHIP SAMPLES SHE CLAIMS YOU OFFERED HER to Argentina. I have reported this thread, and hopefully the mods will catch this.
  5. I have had cursed batches. It was so awful; it was a manufacturer issue, but the product was produced en masse for a fundraiser, and oops...we accidentally shipped a batch that didn't get QC tested here until after I shipped to the client. BIG MISTAKE; I religiously test now. I made good with everyone in the fundraiser, and the mfgr. made good with me, but it still sucked so bad to have to call ahead and say, hey...I just sent you a pile of poop...please return. Humbling? Yes. Humiliating? Yes. My fault? Completely. Even though I got a bad batch of FO, it was still up to me to make sure it all worked, and I (in haste and naivete) didn't test the familiar oil; I had used it for over a year...but this batch of FO was faulty. My supplier was an amazing help; I returned the bad FO to her, upon which she ran extensive testing with similar results to what I found, and took care of that end, but you can't buy back a sullied reputation. It was a MAJOR learning experience. HTH!
  6. Just for the proverbial record, I have tested both the votive/pillar wax and the container wax from the company I utilize. I chose the wax that performed the best after lengthy and pricey testing. Obviously, all waxes have different characteristics, so perhaps it is best to only offer commentation/opinions on a product one is familiar with. Just sayin'.
  7. Can you explain this? I have SUCCESSFULLY used premium soy container wax for clamshells for several years, as do many others, and don't understand your post. TIA
  8. Can a moderator please contact me regarding this post? I received an email that concerns me, as it shows this post and is pushy at best. Thanks, Brandy.

  10. I'm playing with a butterscotch ripple today that I mixed up; letting the q-tips sit in the jar overnight to marry. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be testing this. Fingers crossed. Dessa...you must report on this Pumpkin Caramel you are tempting us with!
  11. Hi, Samantha, and welcome. Nice to see another member from Michigan. I use EL Millennium soy container wax. It works beautifully in clamshells and tart cups, and I treasure the fact that I can buy it from a MI supplier. Good luck with your new addiction!
  12. Congratulations, Suzy! Nice to hear, thanks for sharing.
  13. Very cute. Thanks for sharing! Thrift stores rock.
  14. Definitely a nice thing to do; may your karma reward you. I like what you did, and would loved to have had this about 6 months ago before I took the excel/access course; I still found it invaluable. Take care.
  15. Assistant and I made a date to start on our holiday stuff. It's all been tested, but we retest for each new batch, so the work goes on! Better safe than sorry.
  16. Glad you figured it out! I tried three different browsers. Your website is awesome; beautiful work!
  17. Still no luck; have tried IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome.
  18. Trying to upload Whisper's pics...no luck. What is up with the board? It uploads the files and just stops?
  19. Why would a newbie play with so many variables? just sayin...
  20. Whisper; email me the pics. I'll upload. B@BlissStreetCandleCompany.com
  21. Ok...so before I read any text, my mind said Sedonas...Amazing work! You nailed it, or my karma is kicking in(hopefully; need a boost!).
  22. Looks very elegant, but if you are capitalizing Handmade, you should also capitalize the rest of the phrase for continuity, or don't use capitals on any of the three words. I think adding just the net weight would be enough; don't want to clutter up a good thing...what is the rule of thumb; put on all your jewels and accessories, and remove one piece?
  23. Georgia, will you share where you got the shoe cookie cutter? I'm simply in love with it!
  24. We use and LOVE the Square Up processing system. There are numerous threads on this company; generally positive. It allows you to swipe or manually process from a smart phone/android. Payment is deposited nightly, fees are minimal. HTH!
  25. Definite compliment! They look gorgeous. My assistant's 2 yr old nephew asked for a spoon to "eat the good smell"...knew that was a winner scent!
