  1. AH/RE now sells KY's Sugar Corn Pudding, it isn't Kettlecorn, but smells a lot like it! Sugary and throws well in soy!
  2. Beautiful job! I certainly wish I was as talented as you! I am doing good just to semi-swirl 2 colors quickly before my soap sets up! Great work!!
  3. I'm not a huge laundry type scent fan, but a lot of people like/request it, and between Peak's and CS, CS wins with a stronger throw and closer to YC. Now, the lavender idea is very interesting! I love lavender, and that might tip the scale for me. I'll have to experiment on that one!
  4. I do not have that scent, but do have approx 3 oz of Fall Harvest if you would like. PM me if interested.
  5. I really HATE paying her prices, but the few I have purchased from her have been excellent. The odor eliminator Seaside Cotton is great, similar to MW Celestial Sea,(NOT exact!), and really helped my breeder with "doggie odor" issues. Aqua Spa is like CW "Spa" except much stronger, and I have been getting rave reviews on her Honey and Ultimate Cleansing M&P soap bases for their lather and mildness. I am dying to try her YC dupe "Autumn Wreath". That is my ALL time fav candle scent, but I hate giving her any more $$$. I definitely try to give my business to the companies that price and ship fairly, and the two that I know of in my area, Moonworks and Bluegrass, I have visited personally, and know them to be great people with high quality product. Just wish either of them had a Autumn Wreath dupe!
  6. If Cactus & SS is too ocean like, you would not like MW Celestial Sea. I like it better than C & SS, but I think you are asking for a scent like Trapp's "Water". Have you tried Only Fragrance's Citrus Linen Wash or Champagne Snow Showers? That Champ. SS is REALLY growing on me! Very fresh, but with a sweet ending! I am going to put it into candles and lotion! I have KY's Winter Breeze, which is fresh, with peppermint, nice in the winter, and Sunrise Splash, which is very strong in soy and parasoy, and laundry fresh. If you want Sun Spl, I have 7 oz that I will sell you for .80 an ounce. Let me know. You don't need any more than 1 oz PPO, and probably less. Although, I DO think that OF Champ. Snow Showers is more of what you are looking for. Oh, forgot Brambleberry's Sea Moss! Really like it, but it is not a true water scent. Hope this helps! :smiley2:
  7. I LOVE KY's parasoy Tart Wax. I have always had fabulous results with this. One customer said she had never had a candle throw like the votive I made with it. I know others did not have the same results, me as for me, it is great!
  8. Moonworks Celestial Sea, Peak's Ocean, WSP Aqua Spa, ICS Cactus and Sea Salt, CS Rainwater, and the new Only Fragrance Citrus Linen Wash.
  9. Bert's Aspen Forest = Moonworks Winter Festival Candlewic's Spa = WSP's Aqua Spa (WSP's is stronger, but same scent)
  10. I have a little over 3 oz of CS Smoke & Odor, and I can't stand it! If anyone is interested in it, please PM me, and I will sell it!!
  11. IMO, Moonworks Winter Festival is really close, if not a fragrance twin. I do not think Rhonda has it in at this time. I do hope she brings it back, because I only have about 6 oz of Aspen Forest left!
  12. It WAS Heartfelt's Rocky Mountain Pine, will try KY's Christmas Past or Peak's Winter Wonderland to see if I can substitute!
  13. Harvest Moon is not new for her, she had it about 2 years ago. It is a dupe (to MY nose) of Mc Call's Country Candles Pumpkin Spice. It has a touch of orange, cinnamon, clove and is GOOD!
  14. There is probably just too much demand for this scent, so the fragrance manufacturer is trying to reformulate...I am thinking that this scent will lose a little richness that the clove component provides.
  15. I went through this a couple months ago, ordered Rocky Mountain Pine and a few others. It took an email & a phone call, and it still was 3-4 weeks before I saw my order. The order itself was tossed in an unpadded envelope, no cushioning inside, and one of the oils was unlabeled, so I had to figure it out by the process of elimination. I have decided this is the last time I will order from her, which is unfortunate, since I LOVE Rocky Mtn. Pine. I will have to look for a replacement. There are too many other companies with great customer service to wait a month on an order.
  16. Relaxing and Pineapple Cilantro had good throw in 464, Energy good in 464/4630 (not all soy), Beau Brummel light to medium in parasoy (great scent!) Have just poured Wasabi, Moroccan Mint, BerryWine, Green Garden and Juniper Sage, but need to let them cure. All these were in my own mix of 464/4630. Can't tell you about straight soy except for Relaxing & PC. I have been making melt and pour soap with Kentish Rain, Sea Moss & Champagne. Love Sea Moss! I think I'm going to be in trouble when the credit card bill comes next month!!
  17. Have never heard of her, and I have not had a chance to Google Full Moon Herbs yet. Sounds like she is not willing to carry inventory, wants to know she will have a certain amount spoken for, hence the pre-buys. Saw the Tassi Lavender on MMS, and thought about ordering from there, since they have a liquid soap/shampoo that can be used on the dogs. Read on BB's forum that their (BB) Juniper Sage is a good flea & tick repellent. How's that for going OT with 2 different suppliers??
  18. Suppose everyone has received their email by now; Denise Mercelli-Ballinger of Full Moon Herbs will be the new owner of the Southern Soapers fragrances. She will hold a pre-buy beginning April 25 on 6 fragrances: Bamboo Zen Tea, Tassi Lavender, Acorn & Black Oak, Red Santal, Honey Bee, and Sweet Grass FO's. For more info: www.firstchoicefragranceoils.com.
  19. :bump: Pretty curious about this company, also, PLEASE post reviews!
  20. Well not sure what form it will be in, guess I assumed it would be a slab. (There's that ASSumed again!) I just ordered 10-11 lbs to play with. Will have to do a search on Aztec FO's, since I certainly don't have enough around here!
  21. I am curious how "Pinion Pine" is different from the other straight pine oils out there? Have never been to New Mexico, but have been to Oregon's high desert, and the scent out there is lovely. Closest I have found is Heartfelt's Rocky Mountain Pine, but irritated with their CS. Is Pinion Pine that much better?
  22. Just ordered a slab from Peak to experiment blending with 464. After hearing of the previous issues, I wanted to order from a dependable company that I could trust to rectify any problems. Not that Aztec isn't, but I have never ordered from them before. So, I thought I'd order from a company I knew would have my back if there was a problem. I should place an order with Aztec, just to check CS, and the product line.
  23. If someone thinks this bag is awful, they are out of their mind! Excellent work! Although, I like the name katshe handbag better, because it reminds me of the word kitchy(sp?), or funky. Love lots of pockets in my bags. Contrasting fabric inside would make them standout.
  24. Of course they would post this today, since I just ordered yesterday! I did get a sample of the Black Raspberry Vanilla to compare with WSP. The Amber Romance might interest me if it is not too heavy on the black cherry. Will be interested in reviews. Peak's rarely disappoints!
  25. Good idea, Trudi, on the 5 lbs order. I think a co-op would be in order! That way, you would not have to put out all the $$$ yourself! So far, I would go in on Blackberry Sage, and Rocky Mountain Pine. Have not tested Island Mango. Definitely would have to order well in advance!!
