  2. Thank You for the info and the advice topofmurrayhill as i appreciate it very much. Your so right about buying a slab first, i dont know what i was thinking at the time,lol. They did call me and told me 4144 was a smooth candle wax so i guess ill just make some smooth ones for awhile,lol. Lin
  3. This is not what i wanted to hear but its what i thought. I also was hoping to replace this with 1343 and i just bought a whole da-- case of it. I thought any straight paraffin would be able to be made a rustic. Trying to save on shipping i guess just cost more testing so i might as well have the 1343. This did say it was a straight paraffin so i know i got the right wax for rustics. Off to complain to candlewick. Lin
  4. I just got this from candlewick and im having a heck of a time getting it to make the rustics. I used 3 Tbsp,s of steric and fo and the wax is still very smooth. Lin
  5. These look really cute to make for kids but is there a way to make them so kids can color in the tub with them? Id really like to try them. Lin

  7. Thanks but i know it has to sit for awhile and it did sit for two weeks before i rebatched it. Ive been making soap for awhile but i neaver had to do a rebatch before. Thanks any way. Lin
  8. I made a batch of cp and it came out beautiful but didnt harden up so i did a rebatch to dry it up a little and its still real soft. Is there anything i can do to harden it up? I added more hard oils when i did the rebatch hoping that would help but its been four days and its still soft. Lin

  10. Hi Sharyl, The biggest one is 3x12 high. These are so much more fun to make than just containers, and each one comes out so different. Thanks for all the nice comments. Lin

  21. To tell you the truth Shutterbug i neaver used any of them so im not sure either. I changed over to the cp method cause the soap seems to look nicer longer. Lin

  23. Those of you that know me know i allways did hp soap, but i changed to cp as its smoother looking. Any way last night i made some cp and forgot to cover it so it was just left out open all night. It looks good and the center looks like gel, and is still pretty soft this morning. My question is will it be all right or should i rebatch it? I just covered it and put it in the oven this morning. Lin
