  2. Does that work pretty good Sharyl? These darn tall molds seem to leak so easy and when i used the gray stuff they still leaked out on me. Im still around but guess i had gotten a little discouraged with my sales and took a long break from it. Didnt realize how much id miss it though so im starting again. Lin
  3. Does anyone know where i can still get the white mold sealer? I hate the gray colored one and need some soon. Thanks Lin

  5. Hi Sharl its good to be back. The wedding was just wonderful and as soon as i can get my hands on some pictures ill post some. Im glad its over though as i needed a break after making all the flowers. Hopfully soon ill have some candles to show once again also. Candleman thank you so much for all the sites but i probley should have called it a pillar instead of taper because i need one inch from top to bottom, not tapered. Its just a 1" x 12 straight candle i need. Lin
  6. Does anyone know where i could find a taper mold 1'' x 12 "s? I have a rubber type one but its a pain to work with and was hoping to find a metal one. It also needs to be round. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks Lin
  7. Love these red ones, great display. Lin
  8. What a great idea and i agree its adorable. I wouldnt dip the bear either as it looks great the way it is. I would just scent the roses and leave the bear alone. beautiful. Lin
  9. Both are just beautiful but love the rustic the best. I think the label takes away from the look of the candle and would probley go with a hang tag type one. This is a great cause and your a wonderful person for doing all this. God bless you and people like you. Lin
  10. Beautiful work Janet. Been gone for awhile so this is all new to me but ill have to get some soon and play. Lin

  18. I dont use the micro but i had major cracking when i first started and was told to use steric and havent had a problem since. I use about 2tbsp per Ib and they come out really nice. Lin
  19. I make mine a lighter brown to and alot of customers agreed it was the right color. I had a customer complain that all the high end candle companies color theirs red and she thought that was strange to. If the fragrance just said apple, then maybe red but mine are warm apple pie and who thinks red when you think apple pie, lol. To me it would depend on the name given as to which color. Lin
  20. Thanks everyone, im really having alot of fun doing these but boy are flowers exspensive, lol. Lin
  21. More flowers than the candle part, but i made these for my daughters tables for her wedding in february. Their so much prettier in person though. Lin
  22. Sorry if i worded it wrong but i dont put them in the freezer just the fridge so their cooler. Eugenia do you pour in room temp molds? Guess i have to keep working on them to till i can get them right, lol. Yours are so perfect. Lin
  23. Those are just the prettiest candles ive seen. Great job on them. Lin
  24. I wish i could help all of you but i seem to have the same problems , but i have found pouring cooler has helped more for me. I cant seem to get a decent rustic with room temp molds so i set them in the fridge for a few minutes just before i pour, and i pour as cool as i can. I see so many beautiful rustics posted but neaver seem to be able to get them to look as good. I wish someone would write step by step directions and maybe that would help. I love the look of the rustics and dont want to give up trying. Kalamazoo your unscented rustics are perfect to me, so it seems like maybe the fo,s are killing the affect. Hopfully an expert will step in here and help. Lin
