  1. As I am reading this post to the left in the ad box is an ad for Scentsy... I love their styles of warmers but I personally heard a rep tell a lady that their burners cant use anything but their tarts and their tarts wont work in other burners???? Same person came to my booth and asked me.. I told her it is all science. Wax melts.. melt pool lets fragrance out. Wax doesnt care how melted: electric warmer, tea light, bowl on stove.. match...lol I have several steady customers who have Scentsy warmers but come to me for tarts. People are loving the sports team warmers that Scentsy has.
  2. I just emailed a bunch more template files. If I missed anyone send me a PM and I will try again..lol Have a great weekend. ~Johnna
  3. People often split into 2 funding sources. One good example is using a gift card and then placing the rest on a credit/debit card. Or even when people use welfare money.. they pay for part with it and the rest from another funding source. I like to be a Pollyanna and just believe that it was an oversight that happened to you or a plain ole mistake and that a company would not be malicious and try and financially "screw" you. Just my thoughts.
  4. You have to register your vendors license in one county and if you plan to go to craft shows that are NOT at the address you registered you have to get the Transient license also. No delivery is required. Is about 50 bucks I think to get both the vendors and transient.
  5. okay.. hope I got it to everyone.. If not let me know and I will try again. Ladys -you should of gotten my fundraiser information also. ~Johnna
  6. Hmmm.... I sent out loads of fundraiser sheets.. I must of missed yours.. i do work a full time "regular job" have a brick and mortar store and also am a single mom.. 9. I run Windows XP and have had no issues whatsoever... I had bought another label/sign program and it never worked correctly for me and I wasted a lot labels.. I also tried just downloading Microsoft templates... still a failure for me. I wonder if you looked closely on the initial site if they have a tech help maybe?

  17. I emailed them to see if they had any US distributors and their American one is OBI Imports in Indiana. I wish that OBI carried all their styles.. some are really neat and bit more "scentsy" like which my customers like.
  18. Coffeebean Jharper It is whizzing through cyberspace to you right now
  19. ever thought about selling on consignment? We have a storefront in the town of Kenton OH (opened just a few months ago). I am looking for handmade soap products to sell. We had thought we would do both the candles and soaps but right now candles are keeping us busy enough. If anyone is interested especially in consignment drop me a PM and/or send me your wholesale information.
  20. I am not a soapmaker but I get shampoo bars when I am at the Disney Marketplace. The store is called Basin. It takes very little for a good lather and if you keep the bar dry seems to last a long long time. http://www.basin.com/web-cart/customer/home.php?cat=259 Have to go to Disney or Vegas when I restock.. they have bath bombs that are amazing too..
  21. I just had a palm this morning that had no relief holes and it pretty quickly upon lighting had an air hole and the wicks got way way to big and then when I trimmed them they had issues with staying lit. My candlepourer (Carl) had wanted to see what would happen without relief holes.... we made a decision to poke them and use the heat gun.. is a quick fix and we like to err on the side of caution.
  22. We spent the last week experimenting with 10 pounds of NG palm container wax and loved it. But, today Carl took the 2 hour plus drive to get more and other supplies and they were OUT (in stock on website..grrr). There website doesnt say what "kind" it is like glassglow, starburst etc and when I called customer service they didnt know either??? We need to find a replacement supplier and loved the look of what NG had.. looks like little crystals. Cant locate camera to take a pic Anybody on here use it? Oh.. Happy Monday...lol Ours is having a bumpy start hope you all have a better one.
  23. I'm in Ohio and I use The Candlemaker Store and in a pinch have used MakesScents in Columbus. I used to use WSP but with their new shipping included even when I PICK up an order it tripled my price I always go pick up my glassware.. is usually cheaper and since a couple hours away from home I include some shopping and dinner out with it
  24. I sent a long horn to my daughter and it did the same thing ... I figure texas closed car is just way way to hot.
