1. I just did a laundry scent, mac apple and mango. It's nice and fresh.
2. I, too, have been on a quest to find a good realistic strawberry. I finally found it at Fillmore.
3. Thanks Suzy! You all make me feel so much better!
4. Karen, I do agree that the bigger problem is that the FO hasn't met wax yet. I'm going to try and tell myself that I can't buy anymore until I get at least half of these tested. Ha ha. I don't think I'll listen though.
5. Some of these are old (like a couple or few years old) and were back in the cupboard. They never got tested, but I couldn't throw them away. Most of them still smell good. Do you think they are still worth testing if a few years old?
6. I was doing a bit of organizing today and I came to the conclusion that I have a bit of a fragrance oil sampling problem. Now, I have to get them put away before my husband gets home.
7. I haven't tried the AFB from NG, but I do use the one from BCN. My customers reorder it! It's not a SUPER strong scent, but nice. I use it in soy candles and tarts.
8. Some of their scents look like enchanted lites FO.
9. I use elements bath and body's ES. It's a BBW dupe, too.
10. I use enchanted lites Cinnabun. It's been a best seller for me for many years.
11. I fill my 100lb melter and attach a piece of panty hose and then a piece of old sweatshirt to the spigot with a rubber band. I pour into the bins you get when you're in the hospital. I change the material often.
12. I just poured Bubbles N Lights BCN Cupid last week as well. My 7 year old smelled it and said, "Oh, it smells like playdough." It throws well in 444 if anyone is curious.
13. The other day I did a search to see what FO are the same from different companies and in there someone said that JS Serendipity was the same as BCN Cupid. Here is the link for BCN Cupid. It sounds yummy! http://cart.candlesupply.com/Cupid-Bubbles-n-Lights-pr-20095.html#.UOL5TkLXeRI
14. Very nice set-up! I like the Free Kisses.
15. I make a similar blend and call it Winter Cocoa.
16. That sounds really good! I would have to find a good just plain pumpkin though. Any suggestions rctfavr3?
17. Thanks, Steve. I'm going to try the bayberry when it gets here. Citrus sounds like it would be good. I have a wonderful grapefruit that I might add to it.
18. I just ordered eggnog and bayberry today so I might just try your suggestions, rctfavr3. Thanks!
19. I just poured some tarts with .5 Med. Fig, .2 Vanilla Nut Spice, .2 Cake Bake, and .1 Grandma's Kitchen. I'm not liking it. Maybe tomorrow I will. I was thinking about cranberry, too, Horsescents. I also poured bartlett pear with cinnamon stick and red clove. This smells good. I think I put a touch of vanilla in it as well. (my notes aren't in front of me) Spruce with shortbread and harvest, too. A keeper.
20. The Med. Fig I have is from Elements. It's earthy. A Trapp dupe, I think. I pulled out Grandma's Kitchen (BC), Cake Bake (Island), and Vanilla Nut Spice Special (BC). I'm going to try to mix it with these and see what I get. I'm hoping for a Fig Pudding even though I know my fig is earthy, not sweet. I wish I had a FO with raisin in it to add.
