  1. Thanks for all the responses!! Remembered my password!! Yay!! I just placed an order with Fillmore container for C3, and the shipping for 4 boxes was only $90.00, that was cheaper than Candlescience bx their wax price was higher. It really stinks not having any choices for local suppliers. CandleChem was going to cost about $100.00 more with OUT shipping!!! That to me is just crazy!!! Thanks again for all of the help. I was thinking of giving up the candle business, bx of the supplier issue, but maybe it will be ok. We'll see....
  2. A friend wanted pot roast, or something like that so her house would smell like her inlaw's!!!
  3. Hi Marty!! Let's see, where to begin!! PUmpkin butter-super buttery pumpkin, light cinnamon Natural Cinnamon-incredible, not harsh, just like real cinnamon Lemon Verbena - crisp lemon, love this one Apple pie- very realistic Maple Sugar- nice sweet maple Eucalyptus- sinus clearing!! true to scent aloe verbena-very clean, slight floral, crisp HTH, Renee
  4. the web is www.thenaturalartisan.com The addy will bump to www.mainesoywax.com the webpage says the naturalartisan. the fragrances, wax wicks choices are on the left side of the webpage. HTH, Renee checked the links, and they do bring you to Laura's store. The fragrance list is on the left of the webpage. Her oils are wonderful. All throw super strong in soy.
  5. Love them!! They are so professional. I am always amazed at the beautiful products that people make!!
  6. Candlebuddy!! Thanks!! I will grab some to try. I have also grabbed some new glue sticks. Mine were hot/low temp glue gun compatible. I didnt read the label. I grabbed the hot temp only. So much for a case of glue sticks!!
  7. Candlebuddy, what type is that? the 1 hr set up time would be better than overnight. With 3 kids, and working full time, my candlemaking is done in bulk like a frenzie! I have been using hot glue gun, but I have had a coulple of the wicks slide at the end of the burn, and that has me very nervous. I have been asking my customers to let me know, but nothing. Thanks, Renee
  8. Another vote for the natural artisan, and their Balsam Fir. It is 90% EO, and has no chemical smell. It is by far the best on the market. I have already sold over 75 candles of this scent, and I have trouble keeping up. Laura, the owner is wonderful to work with. She has a commercial line of soy candles, and so I know that her fragrances work very well in soy. www.thenaturalsrtisan.com HTH, Renee
  9. How long to wait for the silicone to dry?? Are you able to remove the old wick tab to wash and reuse the jar?? I reuse my jelly jars for testing. I have been using the hot glue gun, but many people seem to really like the silicone, so I was thinking of trying it. Thanks!! Renee
  10. My friend makes soy lotion also, and the one she uses is www.soywholesale.com I think this lotion is incredible. I had thought about getting into lotion also, and had tested many, and this one I liked the best!! hth, Renee
  11. Thanks Barbara for sharing this website!!! I placed an order on Monday, and received an email that my order was shipping tuesday. Cant wait to see how my rustic stars look!! Thanks again~~ Renee
  12. Hi Sandy!! I dont have the patience to wait 2 weeks for anything!!!! I have waited just a couple of days, and burned with great results. Some scents I notice do get stronger when cured for 2 wks, but this one isnt one of them for me. I have had great luck with NG fo not needed a 2 week cure time. Snowtop is another, Peaks, and JS backery scents all work great for me almost right away. I am venturing to try MC and so far, so good. Let me know what you think!! I'd say burn that baby!!! Take care, Renee
  13. I love PCC!! It is a top seller for me. My only advice about this oil, is that it is super heavy. I heat my C-3 or 415 to 185, add the oil, and stir, stir stir. If I am not careful with the temp, the wax and oil just wont bond. It is my hardest one to work with. I think its worth it though!! I have seen floaties from time to time, but I havent really paid any attention to them. I just figured it was crystalized fo. Funny thing though, I dont need to wick up with this. I use 1.25oz per lb. hth, Renee
  14. HI!!! For a standard 8oz jelly jar, using 415, I use htp 105/104 for 99% of my oils. I heat the 415 to 185, mix my fo, wait until it becomes slushy, about 110 deg. then pour. I dont use any additives, so I cant help with the beeswax. hth, Renee:grin2:
  15. I am using C-3. I did notice their ratings, so that's why I figured someone who used it may have some thoughts. I have had great luck with CS, and I love their customer service. Thanks!! Renee
  16. Hi Carol!! You're not hijaking!! I got them at BCN. I have it side by side with the htp 1312, the hemp, and a yankee candle. the hemp and yankee look exactly alike!! same melt pool, same mushroom:laugh2: no wax hang up. Both the 26oz apothecary. I am going to try double wicking with the htp 126, or 104 and see how that goes too.
  17. I wanted to try Candlescince French Vanilla, or vanilla. I was hoping for anyone who might use this, or have experience with it. I did a FO search, and didnt come up with much. Thanks!!! Renee
  18. Dana, Funny you should be having the same problem as me!! I am adding apothecary jars to my line, and have been trying to see if possible to single wick. I'm Funny huh??? I want to add the 10oz and 16oz sizes. Anyway, I am a user of htp wicks, and have been testing the 1312 for these jars with mc cinnamon sticks. great candles, if I let them burn all day. I know they will tunnel like mad if I only burn for 5hrs. or so. I was interested in trying the biggest premier 700 wicks, to see if they are hotter. I found some Hemp wicks, the super 60048 size, and after 5hrs 1st burn 1/4" melt pool all around the jar, no hang up. This wick is just eating this wax alive!!! I am using C-3, 1.5oz per pound. I love MC Cinnamon sticks. Hope you have luck!!! Renee
  19. Stacy, Thanks for the info. I am ready to throw in the towel too. I dont know why I am really hoping to single wick. I have never had a double wick candle, so I really shouldnt judge, right??? Top, I am sure that you are right about the Premier wicks. I am very happy with my burn for my current jars, so I dont know why I was looking to mess with the formula. I was curious to see the charting, to see if their largest wick burns hotter than the htp 1312, or even the rrd, lx, eco, etc... The charts are so important. Thanks for the thoughts!!
  20. I love almost of of JS FO's!! Capt. Currant is super strong in C-3 @1.5oz 1lb. Hyacinth Chula Orchid is incredible!!! I dont care for florals, but this is wonderful!!! Pumpkin Pie wonderful!! Pumpkin Nog, same!!!! Nana's apple butter so yummy!! I love all of JS's bakery. I think it should be their specialty!!
  21. Thanks for the thoughts!! I am interested in testing them again. I did get a sample pack last winter, and tested them, but I really want to try again. I currently use the htp 126 for my 1/2 pint, and pint wide mouth jars, and would like to retest the premier wicks. I am also killing myself trying to single wick the standard 4" wide apothecary jars, 10oz, and 16oz to add to my line. I am testing the htp 1312, and 1212. They both work great if I let them burn for hours.... I was hoping maybe the largest premier wick is hotter. Back to testing!! Thanks again!!!
  22. I am looking for a burn rate consumption chart for Premier wicks. I have emailed the company, but thought I would see if anyone already has one. Thanks!!! Renee
  23. I have this one. I am not very good at desc. scents, but I will try;) I smell spice, and some sweetness in the background. There is a very faint scent of maybe pine?? It smell almost like a men's cologne to me, but in a natural woodsey way. I know, I know, not much help!!! I like the scent. I would buy it again. I have had great luck with almost all of the Scent Event oils have tried. Only a couple I didnt care for. They have all thrown like crazy in C-3 @ 1.5oz per 1 lb. Sorry wasnt more help!!! Renee
  24. Thanks Rae Ann!!! I stopped by her shop to pick up more supplies on thursday. She mentioned how nice you were!!! I know that you wont find better customer service. I am so glad about the balsam fir!! I have already sold 2.5 cases of my 1/2 pint wide mouth of this scent. I burn it all year. I mix it with Cranberry spice, and that makes another great scent, and I mix it with BCN campfire smoke, and it smells like a real burning fireplace. That sell very well for me too. Thanks again!!! her hot apple pie is fantastic too!!! Renee
