Can anyone give me a review on one or both of these scents from Candle Science? I'm looking for a woodsy scent to be used in soy. Also, are they difficult to wick? Thanks much!
I got this from Royal Aromatics a couple years ago and I love it. I've used it in CP soap - it's strong and does not discolor. Also used it in soy candles and does well there too. hth :smiley2:
That does sound yummy. Has anyone tried it in wax? I've been trying to resist but I may just have to order some samples from them. Scented ~ hope you'll post an update on your CP after it's cut...
Does it smell anything like those "essence of Jesus" candles everyone was talking about last year? I saw one in a local gift shop and it smelled really good. Pricey - but it did smell nice.
I like Turquoise but not everyone "feels" it like I do (right Scented...did you pour it yet sister?). I have become totally addicted to this scent. I put it in soy wax and it throws like crazy. I wouldn't expect that everyone would like this as it's rather unique but I think it's just beautiful. I'd like to soap it next - anyone try it in CP?
I usually use 1.1 - 1.2 oz. per lb and there are a couple scents that I can use even less. I've found that I really don't need to use the full 1.5 oz. to get a strong throw with most scents in KY125 - and it can affect the burn if I use too much.
I think this one smells different than the other fresh linen/clean cotton types I've tried. Not quite sure how to describe it - still smells like a fresh laundry scent but it's different somehow - doesn't have that sharp edge to it. This is my favorite laundry fragrance and I do think it's worthy of getting a sample.
