  1. Sorry, it was Scarlet Moon. I thought I had at least a one ouncer. Must have used it for something...
  2. I'll see if I have any downstairs. How much do they need, just an ounce?
  3. I'm happy they are going to be able to do this for you. I've been reading through the Moonworks thread and Fragrance Buddy is duping several of her fragrances. You might want to send them an email as well. Looks like Moonshine has been in contact with them and they have been working with her on some dupes. J
  4. You might want to send an email to Save on Scents. They carry quite a few Scentsy dupes, just not that one. Maybe they have plans for bringing it in. J
  5. Thanks for reminding me about them again. Went and looked at some of the new fragrances and they now have Cranberry Woods from BBW. I hope it is the same fragrance used by Slatkin in the room spray. Absolutely love that. Also picked up Champagne Snow Showers, Twilight Woods, SoCal, Trichomania and a couple of others. Can't wait to get them in! J
  6. I personally wouldn't use food coloring for bath salts. Depending on how much is used, you can stain the tub and possible the skin. You can find cosmetic safe colorants at NG, Brambleberry, MMS, etc. Liquid works best for me. I also mix the color in the dendritic and then mix with the rest of the salts. Seems to color better. Not sure about the solar salt though. You might want to look at Salt Works. They have good prices, very nice salt and offer free shipping. http://www.saltworks.us/wholesale-bulk-bath-salts.asp
  7. Get Suckered Natures Flavors LorAnn As well as our usual suppliers, Aroma Haven, MMS, Brambleberry, etc.
  8. I agree, PET is probably the best choice for FO (after glass). Wholesale Supplies Plus has PET Bullet bottles and shipping is included. Depending on how many you need to order, Container and Package Supply or SKS are great suppliers. CPS has a minimum order, SKS does not. Natures Garden and MMS both have 4 and 8 oz.
  9. I swear it said 3/24 earlier and was thinking that was a really long update. So, either my eyes looked at it wrong or the page was incorrect earlier. Glad that it's just until tomorrow. Sorry, didn't mean to cause a panic.
  10. I forgot about them, Essential Depot is also an excellent source. However, their website is down for major maintenance. Looks like the won't be back online until 3/24.
  11. I assume you mean CP soap? Soap Making Resource has several kits available. I use this supplier and have been very happy with the quality of ingredients. http://www.soap-making-resource.com/soap-making-kits.html Of course, Brambleberry has a couple of kits as well. Another great supplier. http://www.brambleberry.com/Soap-Kits-C127.aspx I don't think any of the kits come with lye. If you are just wanting to try your hand at soap making, you can pick up some simple ingredients at Walmart or grocery store. You can make a nice soap with just Olive Oil, Coconut Oil and Great Value Shortening or Crisco or Lard. Lye can be found at Ace Hardware, it's labeled as a drain cleaner but is 100% sodium hydroxide or sometimes Home Depot or Lowe's carries it. Also, make sure you get familiar with SoapCalc. You will love making soap!! J
  12. That is one I did not get any of. Rhonda sent a sample so I could make some test incense. Reminded me more of cupcakes than sugar cookies. I liked the blend you made much better. Let me know how much you want for it, I'll take it off your hands.
  13. Both Crisco (new with palm) and Walmart's shortening (Walmart GV Shortening) are in the list. Soapcalc has already figured the profiles and SAP values, all you have to do is select it. Very handy.
  14. If you measured out your oils per the percentages in soap calc, don't add any additional oils. The lye amount it calculated is based on the SAP values of the oils and butters you used. You can't really adjust your recipe once everything is melted. I generally use 8% to 10% castor in my recipes with no problems. I have read where others have used up to 20% castor. The soap may take a bit longer to harden and with the higher percentage and you may notice the soap is a bit sticky after the cure. Just continue on with your soap, you should be fine.
  15. ooooohhhh!!!! Whatcha need, Paul?
  16. Don't know if you have a Walmart close to you, but their Walmart Great Value Shortening makes a very nice soap. It has tallow and palm oil in it. Crisco has palm and soybean. And, of course they carry lard. All of these are listed on Soapcal, so can be an economical way to make to make soap. Their Great Value vegetable oil is soybean and they usually have sunflower, safflower and olive oil. You can probably find similar items at Kroger, Target or whatever chain store you have local to you. TallTayl has great suggestions. Adjusting your recipe can often help with the soft soap issues. Where are you located, maybe we can suggest a supplier that is close. Welcome to the addiction. J
  17. Don't remember how much I have left downstairs, but I can send you a sniffie, maybe up to an ounce. I really like the notes that come through. I mixed it with some Pumpkin from A/H and had a Pumpkin Chai Soap that turned out nicely. I might also have Cherokee. I wasn't overly fond of it OOB and I never put it in product. You can have that if you like. Don't remember how far north this next 'winter event' is going, I see that you are north of us, but we are in the middle of it here in Georgia. So, probably would not be able to get anything in the mail to you until Thursday. Well, I can put it in the mailbox but I suspect we won't have pickup till then. We have several fairly steep hills that ice over pretty easily. Only thing that can make it back here are ATVs.
  18. I really like the one from Oregon Trails as well. Very nice fragrance.
  19. I don't know. This was the description for it An awesome 'wake me up!' in the morning fragrance! Crisp, clean top notes of lemon, grapefruit, and orange surrounded by an accord of tarragon, lavender, mint, and geranium with a hint of a musky drydown The other notes in it makes it a not-so-in-your-face orange or lemon. Really balanced it out. I haven't smelled a papaya FO so not sure how sweet or fruity that is. Moonshine, sent you a PM.
  20. Chandler, that is what I am hoping. Might actually work out pretty good. MW and SGS FO, one supplier! I haven't tried it in wax but it is awesome in soap. Does very well for me. Matter of fact someone just ordered a full 12-bar loaf of it.
  21. I love her Morning Sunrise, which was discontinued. Does anyone know if that was a special blend or available from another vendor? I tried one from Soapalooza that sounded similar but wasn't even close.
  22. Very pretty! The colors turned out wonderfully.
  23. Not sure where you are stuck, but read from someone that they had to actually put in a value for insurance even if you were not getting insurance. Once they did that, they were able to continue to finish paying and printing.
