  1. I received an email back from SoS. They said they did not have this particular fragrance available however they do have a duplication service that runs about $30 where they can attempt to recreate it from an existing product, so I will probably have them do this for me, once that is done it will be added to their catalog so others can benefit from it if they chose to.
  2. I have Watermelon from CandleScience (who in my opinion makes the best FOs), and it is really more like Watermelon Bubble-Yum Bubble Gum, which wasn't what I was going for, so I just renamed my product to Watermelon Bubble Gum, so scratch one company off the list if you are looking for a true Watermelon.
  3. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I have sent them a message, we will see how they respond. They do have quite a large selection, and as luck would have it, so far they don't have the one I was looking for, but maybe they wll in the future
  4. I think I am going to see if I can get some peppermint bark and see how close it is. Of course we all know each person's sensory perception is different. I definately didn't get any caramel notes and certainly not pear, but maybe my nose isn't in tune lol. I'm sure eventually I'll find something similar.
  5. I got the one from the Candlemaker's Store and it is not even in the same category. To me, Candlemaker's smells like straight pine. The Scentsy Silverbells really is more like Pepperment & Chocolate. I guess I will keep looking.
  6. I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can find this of that is similar to the scentsy fragrance of the same name. I've had a few customers ask me if I could make it. I've checked all the usual places like fragranceoilfinder etc, and have had no luck. The one I thought I found I ordered but it smelled like a Christmas wreath and that is not the right scent. Here is scentsy description "Like a sleigh ride in the snow, Silver Bells celebrates the magic of hushed winter nights. Icy peppermint candy canes dance over warm and welcoming winter pear and crisp apple, all enveloped in a velvety blanket of caramel and vanilla sugar." Any help would be appreciated
  7. I just started using them and they are really neat. I get the wicks from http://woodcandlewick.com/%C2'> What I found is their wick guide tends to run a little larger than I needed for example their guide says for 4" containers you should use a 3/4" which, but my testing showed that 1/2" works really well. They really do crackle the way they are supposed to. You'll have to do your own testing to figure out what works for you.
  8. Mine is Ranaé Candles. I actually named it after my then wife's middle name. Oddly enough she had nothing to do with the business in any form, she only managed to sell a couple of my products to one co-worker, meanwhile I could sell 20 of them in one day just by having them sit on my desk at work. When we divorced I kept all the business assets since I created them all, and I wasn't about to change the name after establishing the brand. Now I kinda get a chuckle because I know she walks right by them in some of the stores where I commission my products and she doesn't get a dime of it.
  9. One step ahead of you. I inquired with both companies about larger sizes of these items and they both said they could not get them. There is one company that I know of who still sells the 14 oz variety and I also asked them ... as you might imagine they were less than helpful in giving me a name of the manufacturer. I could understand this if I were direct competition for them, but I'm a small one person operation 5 states away from them. Oh well the search continues.
  10. Yes those are great, I just wish they came in a bigger size. I really trying to find a 14 oz size of these. By the way in case anyone was wondering, I also found the 9.5 oz size at YesSupplyCo.
  11. As I mentioned in my original post, I am not looking for the Interlude jars as they have a straight rim at the top which is not what I am looking for.
  12. I have a question that has just been eating me up. I have for a long time wanted to make my candles in hourglass shaped jars much like the WoodWick company. The problem is I simply cannot find a manufacturer of these shaped jars. Now I have found a 6 oz version sold by candlemakingsupplies.net here. But I cannot find anything in a 12-16 oz size anywhere. Now I do know that Libbey made the Interlude line which is roughly hourglass but the top is straight and I hate the way that looks. I know these jars are still sold by someone because Heritage Candles still sells them here I have contacted them and as you might imagine they aren't at liberty to say where they source them from. So does anyone know where I may be able to get these from?
