  • About You
I'm happily married to a wonderful man and a mother to a darling little girl. They are my ultimate joy! I love making soy tarts and soaps. The aromatic fragrances are my addiction. As far as soap making, my ultimate favorite is CP. I wanted to perfect my style and formula so for over a year and countless batches later, I finally came up with my own unique formula. I decided to start selling my craft on eBay which has been a huge success! I love my hobby. It's fantastic.

I love bakery and fruity scented tarts. I prefer CP soap and especially love fruity, floral, essential oil blend fragrances and spicy notes.

  1. Here's mine. I love everyones! http://www.facebook.com/pages/PureSc...4395723?ref=ts
  2. I finally created a facebook page for my eBay store. It's a great networking tool. http://www.facebook.com/pages/PureScentsations/481924395723?ref=ts
  3. Both for me. I'm still having a lot of fun, so much so that I'm staying pretty busy clearing inventory through my eBay store. My ebay customers are having a blast bidding and getting awesome deals. It's still a wonderful hobby for me.
  4. Well, the only way to be certain is to report it to eBay for Shill Bidding -- so I did. We shall see what happens. If it is shill bidding, ebay will cancel the auction and reprimand the seller. One of my pet peeves is shill bidding! Just some info on shill bidding: ----------------------------- Shill Bidding is bidding that artificially increases an item’s price or apparent desirability, or bidding by individuals with a level of access to the seller’s item information not available to the general Community. Shill bidding is prohibited on eBay. Because family members, roommates and employees of sellers have a level of access to item information which is not available to the general Community, they are not permitted to bid on items offered by the seller–even if their sole intent is to purchase the item. Family members, roommates or employees may purchase items from a seller without violating this policy simply by using purchase options–such as Buy It Now–which do not involve bidding. eBay strongly encourages sellers with employees to ensure that their employees are aware of this policy and the possible consequences of violation. Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including: Listing cancellation Limits on account privileges Account suspension Forfeit of eBay fees on canceled listings Loss of PowerSeller status Referral to Law Enforcement
  5. I just use my roaster to melt and contain my masterbatch oils. When I first started soaping, I only did HP (crockpot, oven). The roaster would be perfect for HP.
  6. Oh my, you are very creative. Lovely!
  7. Totally scrumptious! Your picture taking is amazing as well.
  8. I would never attempt that. I do make my lye mixture the night before to soap the next day. RT soaping is unbeatable! I make up to 4 lye mixtures in 4 different containers when I have new scents to pour or soap line to replenish. Making my master batch this way has totally made my life easier and my soaping really enjoyable.
  9. You're welcome! Maybe, someone who caught on to this tip would like to buy the rest from you. :smiley2:
  10. LOL, you may use it someday so keep it. :smiley2: Thank you for the kind words.
  11. Oooh, that's beautiful! Amazing details.
  12. I agree wholeheartedly! I love being a "soap chemist" -- to be able to adjust certain oils in your formulation to come up with a perfect bar of soap or according to your preferences.
  13. I bought an 18 qt roaster oven a year ago with the intentions of using it to melt soaping oils. Besides, it was on sale . I must tell you that it's on the top of my must have equipment for soap making. I have used it twice to melt and contain 30 lbs of my "master batch" -- I don't have to pour the melted oils in a separate container. Just melt all your oils, stir it well, let it cool then cover. It really comes in handy now that my business is taking off. I've already gone through 60 lbs of oils for my very popular Lushie soap line. I will be filling it up today for the 3rd time. Oh yeah, here's a pic.
  14. Well, the 2 lb batch I made yesterday with the dark castor oil came out perfect. I use 5% CO.
