I just got some Vanilla Browning Neutralizer, from WSP. I tried it with my Vanilla Pear fo from NG in bubble bars a few days ago. No browning yet!
Last time I used that scent in bubble bars with no neutralizer they were brown within a few hours!

Hi all
I've bought btms from Southern Soapers before.. I wanted to order more, and... I can't find it on their site anymore! I emailed, but I was just wondering if anyone knows if they no longer carry it.
Where else might I find it? I must be searching wrong because I can't seem to find anything re this!! lol
TIA

Just a thought, I also use coconut oil in mine. Gives it a bit of hardness too.

This is very interesting... Sorry I can't help, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any experience with this.

Everytime I attempt pink I get orange too.. lol

Normally I hand-shape mine... but I tried the measuring cup mold the other day, and I too had a heck of a time getting them to pop out! lol I dusted the measuring cup very lightly with cornstarch and that helped.

I can't say for sure, but when I've had things discolor.. soaps, bubble bars, etc.. they did within a day or two.

Hi
Welcome Rebeccasbeads
I'm no lip balm expert, but if you did not add a special flavoring, I'm guessing the taste is just from the butters you used.

I think both those methods can be called "room temp" ...
I have had good success with both methods ... hot lye added to the room temp oils and butters, and everything at room temp.
I haven't had any problems with either method... tho as stated above, if it's a fo that accelerates, I let everything cool really well before starting. I'm a pretty new soaper, but this is just what's worked for me.

I do blend it equal parts of fo, and neutralizer. I end up using less fo than I normally would, but I really can't tell any difference.
hth!
