This sounds excellent!! I love NG FOs, so next time I order some I think I'll get this too.

I've used VS before, from WSP, and it gave my soap a strange smell, the mica I used turned a weird color.. overall it was just not a good experience.

I've never made a gardeners soap before, but I have made cp with coffee grounds. Very scratchy! lol

I think it'd be fine to use right away. I know I have.. lol If you were giving them away, you'd probably want them to dry a day or two, just to be sure they are dry all the way through.

That is odd. I wonder if it's the milk too ... I've never used milk before, but everything else in your recipes if something I've tried in one way or another.

Just be sure to keep notes on what you change in each batch so you know what works!

I once made the BEST cuticle balm, took no notes, and couldn't for the life of me remember what was in it. LOL Oh well, live and learn! lol

For bath bombs I love the wilton gel colors, they're super bright, and tint the water too!

I don't color lotions or bath salts so I can't help ya there. Any oil soluble color should be good for lotions tho.

I'm not an expert, but I'll give you my 2cents.

No water=no preservative. Generally. Unless the product in question might be used with wet hands, or otherwise become contaminated.

If you're mixing it half and half.. then yes, .5 each.

When I mix I generally try to keep a ratio in mind.. 2:1, 1:1 or whatever it is ... mix it all first.. then measure out my 1% from the mix. Does that make sense? lol I like to mix up a bit more than I'll be using ... if I like it, I can use it again, or use it in something else!
