  1. yep did you take pics before and after or have the hubby do it? Definately post pics.....
  2. Ditto for me too. I have used them many times over and their shipping is always fast. Customer service is great too...they even called to let me know their inventory was screwed up at one time and only had half a case of the lids I wanted. I was able to exchange them to a higher model for the same price. So no problem here on my end! Pam
  3. love that lovespell one....all look great!
  4. here is the link that lists b&b and candle suppliers by state http://www.candleandsoapstuff.com/Suppliers_by_State.html I have purchased from many of the Georgia and Florida suppliers myself
  5. I actually like the marbled candle.....it looks marbled just the way it is! Did you have a see thru mold or was it a metal mold?
  6. alabaster carriers a 15 ply but in my 2 in pillars with 6228 wax it tunnels then and fizzies out. I would suggest telling your customers that after about 3 to 4 hours of burning they need to extinguish the candle and let the wax set up again to prevent a blowout. Caution them that after 5 hours the wax is so pliable and thin that it very well could cause a blowout and then their candle would be gone. By that time anyway their room will be completely filled with scent anyway.
  7. I use 6228 and 1343.....I use both for pillars because of the versatility of 1343 but I have tested 6228 with all my molds and some customers just want a plain creamy pillar. But for molting or rustics I use 1343. If you have a digital camera I suggest taking pictures of the burn....because even though you write it down sometimes you cant remember what the candle looked like or how much hang up it had etc.
  8. I like alabasters apricots and cream.....but its not a true apricot smell - its got that vanilla in there too! I got lots if you want a sniffy.
  9. I have had to resort to putting my j223 and my j50 upstairs near the air vents....went to get some wax the other day and it all but melted in my hands. These are soft waxes anyway but still as hot and humid as it is here ....it definately makes a difference especially when the candle looks like its crying fo.
  10. Too pretty to burn....definately would leave them out as decoration!
  11. Nice work I can imagine it was very time consuming!

  16. Like the colors.....great presentation!
  17. How cute.....did you make the pom poms in school colors?
  18. Still like the wolf best.....but thats just because they are my favorite!
  19. Ohhhh those are pretty! They would go great in my living room....what does sultry angel smell like? Isnt that a VS dupe? Hadnt tried that one yet!
  20. Your votives and ornies look great! I wouldnt worry too much about votives either too much work for such little profit! I have better luck with chunk votives instead of marbled -- just because of the consistency of the colors. Bet they smell great though!!
