  1. Candlewic has a great one. It has a awesome cold and hot throw in soy. Its part of their Ulitmate Fragrances Line and its called Sweet Pear.
  2. Unfortunatly you wont be able to single wick that jar with an RRD. I use the 10oz apothys and RRDs and could never get a single wick to work. i use 2 RRD 34s. and i think some use two RRD 29s
  3. OMG talk about the most perfect citrus scent. I made a 4lb batch of CP and added 1 tablespoon of Litsea Cubeba and 1 tablespoon of Tangerine Essential oils from MMS and came up with the sweet citrus smell of a lemon drop. yummy. Anyone who loves those citrus smells, must try this combo.
  4. Wow, I would have thought the heat from the CP would have melted the plastic soap molds. Your soaps look great, nice color.
  5. OMG that pomegranate is sooo beautiful
  6. i love the natural colors that the fo made. especually the dark reddish brown one. hmmm, i may have to try no coloring as well.
  7. simply love the blue and purple ones.
  8. wonderful job. i love the cb135
  9. haha, thank you. thats my little girl. she started doing that out of the blue and i just had to take a pic for her to see when shes older.
  10. ooooh love all three colors, I am going to have to try layering the next time around
  11. it does look like butter. :smiley2: Nice and creamy, looks great.
  12. thanks everyone. Its tough to go real deep with these oxides, cause sometimes i notice they bleed when using them. With the red brick color, one time i noticed it left red residue all over my tub.
  13. I just love how bright these came out. I mixed in the color to the oils before I added the lye. Since it takes a lot of mixing for the blue to fully disolve, I wanted to make sure I had lot of time.
  14. Finally was able to do some testing of the Golden Brands samples. I am kind of torn between both the 449 and the 444. The Blue candles in the front and back are the 444 and the Red candles in the front and back are the 449. With the 444 I dislike the amount of wet spots and frosting I get. However when I burned them, I seem to notice a steadier burn. No flickering of the flame and the melt pool burns evenly and seems to last a bit longer. The tops were really smooth. However I notice a weak hot and cold scent throw. I heated to 160 and poured at 145. I used pomegranate FO 1.5oz pp and 7 drops blue coloring. With the 449 I dislike the burn. I get a flickering flame the entire burn and a bigger mushroom on the wick. The melt pool seems deeper and it doesn’t burn as long as the 444. However, no wet spots what so ever and minimal frosting. The tops were a little bumpy, but still pretty smooth. The cold and hot throw was way better than the 444. I heated to 160 and poured at 145. I used pomegranate FO 1.5oz pp and 7 drops red coloring.
  15. oooh i am so sorry to see that. keep trying, you'll get it very soon.
  16. Very nice soap. Yep, the blue just wasnt mixed long enough. You got to mix that one for a long time I am finding.
  17. I found the EXACT same findings. 449 for the win, hands down. :highfive:
  18. There is nothing suspicious about their fragrances. Yes the carrier oil they use IS pure soybean oil (not crisco or a cottonseed blend) You can also order pure soybean oil from soap suppliers. ALL fragrance oils are mixed with some type of carrier oil and this company just so happens to use soybean instead of mineral oil, which I believe most companies use. Candlesoylutions as well as Northstar also have soy based fragrance oils. All three of these companies are legit and reputable, I think people should test them before they start saying it sounds fishy.
  19. Oh man, those soaps make everything I have made, look like a shame. great job.
