  1. Thanks I should have checked this before I ordered it, Dang The Brighterscents one has no cinnamon and I need it bad, but its out of stock there and at gelluminations, I think they are the same company, not sure exactly but the sites are the same. Has anyone tried JDCandles funnel cakes. I think these are the only suppliers I'm aware of that have this scent. If anyone knows another let me know Thanks
  2. Gelluminations is out of funnel cake and I really need it, the one from ICS has more or a cherry note to it. Has anyone by chance smelled the one from connies candles ?
  3. I know SweetCakes has a Happy dupe on sale to I think, and their dupes are usually very very good. Aroma Haven has VS Rapture dupe to answer the other poster. Its pretty close to my nose.
  4. I like Scentworks Vanilla Sandalwood its dreamy, I prefer it to sweetcakes personally
  5. All of the Citrus oils for sure. And right now Blood Orange is really popular for me!!
  6. Is it strong? And is it close to the original? I usually get from save on scents but need to reorder but I can't find any reviews on the sweetcakes version anywhere
  7. A good coconut for bath and body, but I wouldn't recommend for candles!
  8. Sorry I should have said.. It is Plumeria and Coconut mainly but smells out of this world good, it may contain other notes not sure. I noticed Daystar has Soap Silly's Intoxicating Coconut I think the name is which is supposed to be Plumeria and Coconut.. Has anyone tried this one.. Maybe I won't be able to find the Sweet Passion
  9. Does anyone remember this oil and know perhaps where I could find it at another supplier.. I just ran out and it was still awesome, such a great oil I need to find it!! Did a seach but nothing Thanks for any help
  10. Do you think they prefer the tarts in the cupcake holders, or just regular scalloped? I switched to the cupcake tarts using the cupcake holders from KY, but you can't really smell the tart until you remove the tart.. Another words I am wondering if the customer would be happier with a scalloped tart like I used to do ...As upon recieving the tarts the scalloped not in cupcake holders will have a stronger cold throw out of the bag... While I find I can barely smell the cupcake tarts until removing them from the holder.. Infact I forgot to label some and could not tell which was strawberry and which was Pink Sugar... Do you think this matters?
  11. Thanks sounds like I may check out Backwoods and Candle Cocoon.. I have tried CS and Bittercreek but never the two above.. I've never even popped my nose in on Backwoods - and you say none have failed Off to Plot an order!!
  12. I'm with you Debra! I think this is happening alot also!! I have had several also that just were not the same great oils they were prior.. I'm in such fear of it now.. I'm avoiding large orders of oils at the moment.. I wonder if this is from the manufacturer or the supplier.. and like you say they always say there is no change !! But when you have used an oil for a long time and have previous to compare you know when something has changed.. These oils were already phaylate free
  13. I am having this problem with a supplier also!! I keep waiting to see if anyone will say anything but none yet... I have the two different bottles to compare and they are not the same in strength at all.. And this is a hugely popular oil!!
  14. I'm really happy with KY oils in my soy wax, I am wondering who else should I consider for this quality of oils.. I have tried Milcreek already but am curious about others I hear about on the boards Candle Cacoon bluegrass Lonestar Scented Bean Berts AtWixEnd Or any others who you think have a simular quality oils for soy wax
  15. I just got the Primera so I'm looking for someone who can design me, some really fancy labels... I'm not having much luck in my searches Anybody have recs for some great designers who are great with labels..
  16. I'm currantly using KY Soy Tart wax blend.. I have also used Ecosoya PB However I have never tried a non Soy blend for tarts Has anyone had better luck with other waxes that don't contain soy? I'm curious as too the advantages or disadvantages to not using soy? Thanks
  17. Thanks.. I contacted Primera and they did have a printer driver for Vista , I downloaded it and now it works with Vista !!! Now I just need to find out if Printshop will work or not, the tech guy wasn't sure, he just knew it worked with Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Publisher.. None of which I have at the moment, and all of which would be a learning curve... I've read one comment that it worked with printshop and one that it didn't... I can't get any info on that.. I guess I'll have to buy it and find out, since its far less costly than Photoshop..
  18. Well the Primera came in, what a nightmare so far Well it will not work with my main computer, it is uncompatible with Windows Vista 64 bit.. So I had to hook up my old computer, which is slow just to be able to hook it up .. I wish that would have been mentioned before I purchased. And the label program it comes with is a joke, it will not even allow you to layer things. Its terrible, can't make a label with that... And the pro version is $500.00 Well thankfully I just read you could use this with Printshop, has anyone done this? My concern is, if I go buy Printshop etc.. then will it be able to print to the Primera automatically.. or will I have to do anything specific.? Also does anyone know if you can layer objects and set backgrounds in PrintShop ? I'm used to Avery which is super advanced compared to this basic program from Primera... I'm crossing my fingers that Printshop will solve my problems.. I planned to get some labels designed but in the meantime I have this thing and cant print a decent label on it, can't even set a background with it
  19. I know I'm so excited its supposed to arrive tommorrow:rolleyes2 I've been using Avery and Online labels waterproof ones for about 6 years now.. so this is a big change... I can't wait to see how they will look, I got the glossy labels... so no more non-glossy matte boring labels I hope!! I'm thinking of getting a designer to help me make them look really good! Since I'm design challenged..
  20. I have both so I just went to sniff, and the Candlescience is definately more what I would think creme brulee should smell like, has a caramelish sniff to it Ky's is different, not that I don't like it.. but the CS smells more like Laura Mercier Creme Brulee if thats what your looking for!
  21. I didn't like Magenta Nectar personally I found it smell artificial! Never tried in wax though!!
  22. This happened to me a few times!! They make mistakes to LOL I got black vanilla once that smelled like buttery vanilla and Chocolate that smelled like flowers...
