I like Pinemeadows, never tried aztec though sounds interesting -
I blend ICS original Cinnamon buns with Vanilla Bean Noel and to me it smells really good You may try that just adding some vanilla bean noel, I usually use the Tennessee Version but any would work. It tones down the heavy cinnamon and gives it that sweet vanilla caramel smell To me it smells alot like philosophy Cinabunn type For Apricot NG Fresh Apricot is really good For Bazooka WSP is awesome, I've heard Just Scent Bazooka was also good but haven't tried it Lilly of the Valley is great at MMS

Have you tried OT's Version? I have read somewhere that certain people can't smell some musks I could be one because I don't smell much with SC's version but I ventured out to try OT's after reading others say that SC's was not as good as OT's and when i got it I couldn't believe how good it was they were right. It smells like the little vials of egyptian musk I've smelled at stores like whole foods and the like While I smell more of a fresh scent with SC's like you said more clean so i guess it depends on which kind you want really

Thinking of placing first order at NG
RetroMetroChic replied to mindyw86's topic in Fragrance Discussion
I got a scrub in the halloween swap in Bite me and It was really great, like an amped up Tropical Punch with a fizzy cherry note I love it, planning to order some soon. Personal faves from NG Candy Apple Orange Sherbert Fruit loops honey vanilla love dust -
For Egyptian Musk the Sc version is not near as good as Oregon Trails Egyptian Musk infact I hate the SC version its definately not the Worlds best as they say Oregon Trails version smells like the egyptian musk in stores, while SC version I'm not sure what its supposed to be it doesn't smell good to me Iv'e used OT's Egyptian Musk in Tarts (nice throw) & B&B it is a beautiful scent Honestly Sc has the worst Egyptian Musk, Natures Garden Egyptian musk is better but OT's is the best I promise you. Sanguigno Orange Patchouli is very good but I do my own blend of Real Patchouli EO, Patchouli Dreams from Candle Cocoon, and Blood Orange EO , sometimes I may also add some orange fragrance oil also. and I like it better personally Hope this helps

brighter scents/midwest candle supply?
RetroMetroChic replied to Candycane196's topic in Fragrance Discussion
They are unreliable, you may or may not get your order they tend to send a slip for a missing item and then it may take you months to get it if you get it. But I did like the funnel cakes they used to have it was a pretty good oil but not all are good many are weak oils Brighter Scents, Creative Illuminations, and Midwest Candle co ( I think thats the new name they just changed it) are all one in the same same location same everything -

Wow WSP Bath Whip Base went way up in cost! Help
RetroMetroChic replied to RetroMetroChic's topic in Bath, Body & Cosmetics
Yes the chemistry store type is no good at all, your totally right thewickedwick The only place i know of is Jody's, I've ordered from her before and the lids were not right they were off like a bad batch and the bottles were not clean but I did get what I ordered. But the lids were so off I could not use them they left a gap when screwed on So I'm worried Even from WSP sometimes I get a really good batch of the bath whip but I got a few bad batches that were hard and i couldn't get a nice fluffy bath whip with the hard batch i got. They said to melt it I tried that it didn't work. So my worry is the batch at jodys could be the hard stuff I can't believe it went from $33 to $50 thats really a big jump I'm so angry I may have to stop selling them I mean really -
Vanilla Bean Noel Need help
RetroMetroChic replied to RetroMetroChic's topic in Fragrance Discussion
Thanks for the great reviews.. I hear you EccoLights I'm just as angry as you are, I was just shocked at the increase in the price of the bath whip I use, it went from 30 something to 50, my mouth hit the floor I'm pissed to but unfortunately there are few things i have to get from them and it makes me really mad Thanks everyone -
Vanilla Bean Noel Need help
RetroMetroChic replied to RetroMetroChic's topic in Fragrance Discussion
Has Anyone tried the WSP version? I'm curious is its a better version for lotions more accurate duplication maybe. -
You can use an image as a background. If you have an image of a color just set as background But normally you do have to make the box but instead of stretching the box you can select format and then background and then set as background Then it will fill the entire label space for you Hope this helps

I'm so curious about these bases I've been wanting to try Can anyone compare the Shea Body Cream to Aquatechs tyring to get an idea how they are. I notice they use some organic shea in them so i'm worried about the base having a scent and not taking fragrance well. Would love to hear any more reviews

Vanilla Bean Noel Need help
RetroMetroChic replied to RetroMetroChic's topic in Fragrance Discussion
Did you find the scent throw just as good in say para-soy wax tarts I didn't think NG would have good throw but I need this oil for B&B so I need it now This sounds good Thanks Sharon, My sister actually preferred the smell OOB better on the Mrs Claus Cookies than the Wendy's Tenn version or the Daystar version but i never tested the Mrs. Claus just had a small amount Anyone tried the WSP version for B&B curious if all the rave reviews are true or not I hate buying 2 oz to try its so $ now at WSP its crazy Thanks so much Sharon I'm most likely going to go get a lb of the NG for sure -
Trying to find a FBB Base that is soft like this one, I've tried many that are really like butter not creamy at all. Jodys soap and creations has the same base anyone ordered it from her price is far better but I'm scared of what I will get Or maybe there is a good soft and creamy one out there I'm not aware of I just can't pay $55.0 for what was more like $33.00 not long ago My mouth dropped to the floor I'd have to really increase my prices to pay that much I'm getting so frustrated with WSP They used to be a favorite one stop shopping, I'm willing to pay a bit more for one stop but now I look at the FO's and I could throw up they are more costly than TSW but no where near the quality. Sorry I felt a need to rant feeling better now LOL

I normally use Tennessee version but they are out of stock right now I know this is the best for wax I think But I also use it for lotions and thinking of getting NG Mrs Claus Cookies I've tried this before and it was good or WSP Vanilla Bean Noel ( never tried so I don't know how good this one is) anyone tried both and could compare strength and which they prefer Also which is stronger for para-soy Thanks for any advice
