if everything got mixed and beat in..all should be good how did it look when you poured it into the mold?? were there clumps of oil??

I was looking for something to mix with my ginger FO..came up with mango and ginger with some orange swirling action..

What made me kind of sad though is that when I watched the YouTube bid when they were on Big Deal they said they were skiing and saw a place with a line around the corner and wondered what the product was..then just thought they could make it too..looked up some recipes and then started making them to sell.. I felt like they saw dollar signs before even loving what they do..I dunno I guess it really doesn't matter..

I tried pushing it back together..no go! it was set up and too hard ..but it smells delish!! maybe Ill sprinkle some mica on it and make it sparkly..sparkles can fix everything,right??

I tried to texture my soap last night..left the top off of my wooden mold in all of its soapy glory let it set up and do its thang! then this morning I went to check on it..and cracks a bound!! but the texture is still there..weird! its about 60 degrees in the house.. I am guessing I am destined NOT to have textured tops..that or have textured tops with cracks

the fragrance was a lot lighter than the original ones were.. thanks scented..

I can't use a bath bomb so I use my trusted guinea pigs-my 2 boys to give me feedback.. Thinking my 6yo didn't like colored water I refrained from putting a red bomb in his water until one day he asked for it..so I found a bomb my 12yo made about 5mos ago plopped it in the bath..and to my surprise it fizzed... So it got me wondering... I hear that THE best bath bomb is a freshly made one..how old is too old of a bomb?? I don't use water to make them...and just had them sitting on a ceramic plate for all these months.. Thoughts??

I used the strawberry cheesecake..it seems to stick well..we will see its only been 2 months almost 3..

just wanted to update that I made some soap using BCNs strawberry cheesecake..NO discoloration and WONDERFUL scent.. it sticks well..and is perfect..

it boggles my mind that people would flock there and spend their hard earned money on their overpriced stuff.. but theres lots to learn at the store..marketing marketing marketing..

I wasnt too impressed by their bath bombs either.. I like to go and smell..and see whats up?! they have AWESOME merchandising..

I JUST went to LUSH for the first time yesterday just to see what all the hype was about.. and I am left still wondering what all the hype is about..I mean even if I didnt make my own soap I have NO idea what the big idea is about their stuff is.. and their 4oz soap was $9.95..yowzers! made me want to raise my prices but my question about big named stores in general is why is it that it seems as if handmade soapers have to PROVE ourselves to the public on why our products are better yet places like LUSH-mind you most of their display just seemed thrown together and their scents kinda-weird! and they have loyal followers.. why if someone got a bad batch of LUSH stuff-whether its because of scent or product will still go back and buy other stuff yet people quicker to dismiss and small business soaper..drives me nuts!

I did use amazon..then they have the used or discounted books section too..I think thats the one that I used to get my books..the sellers are pretty honest about the condition of the book too..

ohh..aviator you got ratted on by your son..eek!! could he be bribed with some soap? I KNOW I have issues with FO but as I ALWAYS tell my family.. 'it keeps me off the streets'

I have a blueberry muffin type..just no pomegranate.. I may do some mixing once I search for a pomegranate that I like.. I was hoping to find an all in one but I AM trying to work on my blending so I will DEFINITELY let you guys know what I come up with thanks all ♥
