My husband says that I'm granny too.He even waits for episodes with her making some soap and tells me to watch to see her. and I hear ya about people NOT trying your soap.But once they do they are HOOKED.Maybe take some 'store' labels and disguise it as a store bought soap..haa!! -
I havent done it but cant CPOP soap be used right after it comes out..

I came across it as I was at Whole Foods.Has anyone tried soaping with it?? The label reads 100%palm oil with sunflower oil. thoughts??

I was interested in using the Ikea drawers.But I was wondering what you used as a cover.I am using a wooden mold now that has a lid. What do you use as a lid for the Ikea drawer molds?? thanks all

what are you covering the molds with?? the wooden mold I currently have has a lid...what are you using as a make shift lid.. I wil be heading to IKEA this weekend-the hubby needs a chair..and its only 20 mins away..

what was your process??Did you cut or shred?? How much liquid did you add?? sometimes shredding the soap to finer pieces could make it melt down and become less lumpy. Have fun:)

so does everyone just stock up on palm in the cooler months since they dont ship then??? or are you redoing recipes to compensate??

I was just wondering how long shipping takes..actually with shipping their prices are WAAY cheaper than buying things here and there(which is what I was doing) and also the time and gas to go around and buy stuff. I couldnt get 50 pounds of coconut oil from anywhere local.So,really with shipping it was still WAAY cheaper. I hate paying shipping too but putting that into the price of oils its totally not bad..I do wish I lived closer to them..and heck,I'd just love to see how a drum of coconut oil looks..WOW!!

it may have been a bit chilled..but it did speckle but no crystals.. is there something to prevent it next time..

I have used this vanilla FO before soaped well.So I mixed it with a strawberry FO and added it.. When I went to unmold and cut yesterday I noticed some brown spots(looks like little flecks) on just the outside of the soap. I checked on it today and the little brown spots have appeared on the inside too.. I know its probably an aesthetic thing..but why did it happen?? I mixed what I thought was thoroughly to incorporate the FO's..maybe more stirring??

I went to a craft fair that had some CP soap the company was from NC.It was a tad soft..I think unfortunately its EVERYWHERE..
