    It does have a plasticy sorta rubbery feel to it at first. But let it sit a few days and it hardens rather nicely. The longer it sits, for me at least, the better off the soap is. I thought the soap I made was not so hot but after a week or so, it feels really good!

    The hardest part is finding the right additive formula for your base and lining this darned mold! I got it figured out but not the way they did it in the tut. The soap looks good but its still not giving me the lather I want. Grumpy if I can't figure this out I am dropping out...but I promise not to give up without a fight!

    Thanks Deb! Come on and join in the fun!!! I am sure your soap will turn out just fine! *faint* I was not easy at first. But it is much easier to swirl mp soap than it is for me to line this slab mold....now that is the difficult part!

    Those are too cute! Have you tried using the wilton coupler and ring in your plastic bag? They work well and they also have disposable bags too and not as expensive as the pro decorator. Just make sure you cut the hole in the bag big enough for the coupler to fit, put the coupler inside the bag where the hole is, put the metal tip on the outside and screw the ring on to hold the tip in place. You'll have to use the biggest tip they have though because the smaller ones will clog too fast for this.

    Prairieannie, I think I am in need a 12 step program! I am having way too much fun with this...seriously! I blame you, and Creative Body Essentials, Grumpy, Z, Soapfreak, Elite....do I need to keep naming the rest of the bad influences around here? All of you are so inspiring, I can't help but want to join the insanity too! Thanks again for helping me!

    I think I'm happier with this one. Tomorrow its time to face the freezer paper so I can swirl in the slab mold. This is attempt #2.

    This is just a play batch that I did today with the help of the MP Queen....thanks Prairieannie:wave: ! It still is not bubbly like I want it but its getting there. The scent is Coconut Lime Verbena ummmmm yummmmmy! My swirls look more like a marble effect but I think I may just figure it out...not bad for a first try...

    I would love to have some of those purple LP jars and the purple lotion bottles....that would just make my partner's year if I could find some of those! We have searched high and low for them and she's the only place I've seen them. It has been so frustrating, I have even considered changing our logo. I may just bite the bullet and give her a shot. Worse case scenario, we'll have to double sanitize everything.
