Lynn, what jars did you send? I was afraid the flat rate box would be too many boxes to ship. I do have a UPS account, but I must of added the weights wrong because it weight more then what i thought.

and just sent them out today. Not too bad, took one and a half days to fill 100 candles. This was my first time shipping out something so big so I kinda messed up on the shipping. I undercharged the customer! Feeling kinda bad about that, but Im telling my self I will learn from my mistake and calculate shipping better. Anyone been as dumb as me? Please tell me its a first timers mistake (even if its not, just to cheer me up):rolleyes2

she stated that she is starting her new business in fall and something about the military..did your person say that too. She actually called my supplier(she thought they sold candles) and my supplier gave me her information.

I have a lady who asked me to wholesale some of my candles to her. she said she was wanting 10,000 ....dont know if this lady is being real, well see. but she said she wanted to put her labels of my candles. what do you guys think? has anyone done this? I feel like she would be taking the profit of my work.

I wanted to make some whipped soaps for mothers day but wasnt sure how to package it. Can tins be used or will it rust? Should plastic containers only be used? thanks

theres was a thread about this a while back. IGI had reformulated thier 4630 and changed the formula on it. they have recently gone back to the old formula. IGI recommended pouring the wax about 10 degrees hotter. some suppliers have recieved the good batch again.

if im making reed diffusers, and the glass bottle holds 7 oz of fluid, do i mix 2 oz of fragrance to 5 oz of reed diffuser mix if im doing 30%?

is it better to use white soap or clear soap to make a true black color soap? TIA
