  1. I use the SFIC base from peaks or the bases from brambleberry. (Pepperi, your rebatched soap bars look great. I "hearted" your etsy store!)
  2. You know I'll be following your testing closely, so keep us posted. I have about 70 lbs of the 6036 left so I know I need to find something else soon. What a PITA! Hopefully I can find something that will go with the $500 dollars worth of supplies I just bought for the holiday season. Grrrrrrrr!
  3. I haven't used that particular one but I have used a round loaf mold similar to that one. They were each 16 oz cavity's. I think mine was a Life of the party version.
  4. Anyone who actually breaks down and tries to make their own candles learn really quickly that it's a lot harder than it looks. Either that or they will learn when they don't get repeat customers or complaints.
  5. By the way, Aztec is also discontinuing it. Here is the reply I received in regards to it: "So here is the deal with the 6036. It was originally a lot cheaper, lower grade version of the 6006. With the recent price increase it is now the same price and may actually end up a little higher than the better grade 6006 so for all exstensive purposes we will be getting rid of it too. Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Sales Associate"
  6. Crap and more crap! Well I just ordered a bunch to get me through the holidays and will probably try dans suggestion when I can afford it. I had just ordered a whole load of supplies to go with this wax combo and I have to use that up. With the way the market has been I wish I could say I'm surprised. I'm going to go cry right now.
  7. If its listed, then it is in stock. I also will take custom order so if there is not a scent listed then they can contact me to order. That's why I typically carry seasonal scents and rotate them throughout the year.
  8. I love all of them but I suppose you can't order all of them. So just my top favorites: Pumpkin Souffle Cranberry Marmalade Wildberry Mousse Brandied Pear Cinnamon Love Spell Creme Brulee Very Vanilla
  9. I knew nothing about about a bad batch but I did have a batch about six months ago that was like that. It was the first time I had used the honey base and decided to not use it again because of it. Perhaps I should try again.
  10. I'm bumping this one because I'm curious too. I haven't heard a whole lot of feedback on Cajuns FO's.
  11. I prefer to use natural colors like cocoa, spices, herbs, teas etc. I have been playing around with micas also.
  12. Wow! I tried rebatching this past weekend, oven method. I think perhaps I must not have patient enough because it never became pourable. I got it to the mashed potato consistency. Perhaps I will try the bag method next time.
  13. I always color mine a light orange. I have no idea why, that's just what I picture.

    M&P Smell

I use the SFIC bases and I have never smelled an alcohol smell.
  15. I will have to third the Very Vanilla from candlescience. I just recently made it for my BIL. He loved it. He is a huge vanilla fan.
  16. YEAH!!!!! That was fast!!!!! I'm doing the happy dance!
  17. I'm with sliver on this one. People won't really know that it is Love Spell if you name it something else, and people love the scent. It's one of my best sellers. I just use TM or (type).
  18. Apple Jack and Peel Butterscotch Cherry Blossom Warm Vanilla Sugar Blueberry Cobbler. They all threw really good in C3!
  19. I, I, I and I! Did I mention I? I think it would be a really great idea.
  20. Crushed apricot seeds or cornmeal, jojoba beads, make scrubby soaps.
  21. LOL. Not that I needed another reason to drink, but it's a good one!
  22. Well, then I guess I better do my Yule shopping now! It would be a shame, they're really cool.
