  3. i still would like soemthing about the things we can do with MP
  4. yeah i already do melt and pour lol, i have wanted to do cp for awhile just scared.. my kids are ages 1, 5, and 8 i have the gate up so you cant get to the kitchen but the older 2 can just go over it, and when i am making MP or candles they dont like to stay out of the kitchen always comming in to see what i am doing no matter how much i tell them when i am in there working not to come in... i could do it during the day while them 2 are at school but my 1 year old wants attention so i couldnt be there watching like i should be... and now my hubby says lye is not allowed in this house he forbids it especially after i showed him that one link where the little boy dumped the water/lye on himself... it will have to wait awhile..
  5. ahhh ok i read the new cp soapers reference thread on the top of this forum and it scared the crap out of me, and i read it to the hubby and he said no absolutely not, not in this house with 3 kids that run around and dont listen .. soooo i dont think i will be trying this... unless i can make cp soap without lye ?? but i have never heard of that
  6. very very pretty, you are very talented !
  7. where would you recommend i start ? i have no clue about anything at all with this, i have no clue about lye besides it can burn you bad if it touches skin.. i have no clue how to use a calculator, or what oils to use or where to even get the things i would need..can you even buy lye in stores or does it have to be online? can anyone point me in the right direction.. is there a beginner tutorial ? i meen very beginner lol i know nothing.. i always said i would never make it cuz i am scared of the lye especially with 3 kids, they wont ever stay out of my kitchen...but i feel that i need to try it at least once .
  8. you have to request it so i am sure you have to call them and ask them to use it
  9. i would like to learn more about soaping with supermarket oils, CP soaping for beginners, and more things to do with MP soaps.. lol ok that was more than 1
  10. for those of you that may know about this fragrance oil it is one that i am wanting to get, are these the same F/O's ?? just curious as NG is closer and i already have to get a couple things from them, i would rather not have to order from 2 different places..
  11. yep it is discontinued at JS
  12. their GB 415 is now 63.00 a case... geesh
  13. ok great thats what i wanted to hear !! i use NG for basically everything if i order b4 11 am i get it next day and shipping is great price ! so NG soy is GB415 which is the same as ezsoy !! awesome, thanks!
  14. LOL i have them moments alot...glad you figured it out !
  15. basically the only thing i get from BC anymore is the wax and labels, the shipping is just too much for me along with the wait time to get it.. has anyone tried NG soy ? i am wondering how it compares to Ezsoy, with hot/cold throws ect ect.. if anyone knows where i can get a soy wax close in comparison to the ezsoy near PA can you let me know..
  16. LOL i will probally get yelled at for recommending this without putting it in wax, but..... i havent made anything in it yet i just bought it off the classifieds earlier this week... i think it will throw great though, i will make a candle and tarts tomorrow in it to test for you... but to me it smells like it has a hint of vanilla in it.. smells like a york peppermint patty without any chocolate smell.. the thing is, my hubby actually walked in after work the day i got it and could smell it and i hadent made anything in it.. but he really llikes it he even thinks it smells calming, smoothing and relaxing... i am not a peppermint fan either lol so this for me is good
