thanks, this is sooo weird, i didnt think not coloring candles would be so much of a difference in the wicks... i made a chocolate covered cherry candle, great CT i lit it yesterday and after about 2 hours i had full melt pool and a depth of melted wax about 1/2 inch.. now it was in my bedroom about 15 X 15 area and HT was great !! but it is burning quicker than what it did when i had colored candles.. now i just an hour and a half ago re lit it for my second burn. within an hour i had full melt pool with almost a half inch of melted wax.. but no HT it just smelled like hot wax.... it was great yesterday but not today.. but i know the wicks are burning too quick now since i dont have color in the wax now.. but this is just bugging me, any advice?

thanks i wanted to order them through NG cuz im gonna have a big order in the next week, but they dont seem to offer a big variety of wicks for the htp ones they have 31, 52, 73, 83 , 104, 1212 .. from research i have done seems most ppl use 104 or 105

ok so i have been using hemp wicks, well i decided to stop coloring my candles and now the wicks are burning too hot, i have wanted to switch to new wicks for awhile now so i am guessing this is a good time, cuz i would have to retest with new hemp wicks anyway.. so i am using ezsoy wax, and the 8 ounce jelly jars.. what htp wick/s do u recommend me trying out first to start off my new testings ?? tia

i havent tried any on your list, i just got the pumpkin apple butter but havent had a chance to use it yet.. i love NG thought all the scents i have gotten i just love, the pink sugar,love spell, cucumber cantaloupe are my biggest sellers lol update this thread if you can when you get back from vacation and get to smell them and put them in was ect !

ok this is what i bought and this is why i love NG i ordered on thursday got it on friday (wsp is like this too ) anyway i got: vanilla pear ~ smells awesome i think, maybe a little light but great smell Lavender vanilla ~ great scent really does remind me of the fabric softener Hawaiian suntan ~ smells exactley like the suntan lotion Pumpkin apple butter ~ hmmm really strong i dont know how much i like it just in the bottle chocolate covered cherries~ i had to get it cuz the once sent me a scented rose in this and omg it was right on, oob it smells really strong like dark chocolate covered cherries Lilac ~ yep smells like lilac Watermelon~ smells just like a fresh piece Raspberry Zinger ~ omg great scent it smells exactley like raspberry zingers, i can not wait to use this one.. now all these are just from me smelling the bottle once i soap and/or put them in wax i will update more next order, i want fruity loops, mulberry spice, best friends, and amber romance type so if anyone has any reviews on them ones let me know please

thanks everyone.. Laura does it smell like watermelon though? on the site it says that is smells like a mixture of fruits, but i have someone wanting a watermelon candy smell.. i was hoping this would work .

if so how did you all like it ? and for making lotions how much lotion does the 1 pound of base give you ? i currently use wsp's lotions but am very curious about these from NG

if i had to pick it would be NG cuz i have had alot of luck with them and they are quick to ship

no one seems bothered by it, just be sure to tell them or have on your label to shake well before use..most people shake their bottles anyway before they spray them...

i use amber colored bottles and some of the f/o's do make it cloudy.. it is just hit or miss with the ones that dont...

i actually figured it was pretty easy to mix, but i have neither the coconut or chocolate lol... but im still not finding just the chocolate coconut, i did fine one place who has mounds i think it is pine creek or something but their prices are pricey lol 32.00 for a pound so i think it would be easier to just buy the 2 str8 f/o's and mix my own, if i decide to do it... thanks

just curious if anyone knows of where i can get a fragrance oil of this ? my sister asked me today some one at her work asked her about it she said she had gotten it ina candle before from home interiors?? anyways, i have checked a few places and havent seen it so if anyone knows of a place that carries it please point me in the right direction.

i dont think they are the same either, i believe one is water based the other is oil based, i dunno somethiing is different lol.. so i just buy candle dyes for the candles and soap dyes for the soap lol...

yeah i would be interested in the poufs, vinyl bags, soap savers, and even the 2.7 ounce bottles maybe for samples..

well i see bcn's wax prices jumped... went from 10.10 to 14.95 for ten pounds and from 42.00- 52.00 for a case.. just wondering how this is effecting your prices.. how much are you having to go up on your candles... i havent figured my cost up yet with the new prices.. i am starting to wonder if it is time to stop with the candle business..
