I have found, in my experience, that it continues to cure whether you light it once, or even a few times, and then re-cap it.

Angela, MillCreek has a good Seaside, no perfume, nice clean ocean scent, though! We are adding: Honeydew Melon-Farmhouse (awesome!) Cotton Blossom-RA Lilac Breeze-MC Captivatingly Currant-JS Effervescent Fizzy Pops-JS Cuke Melon-JS Raspberry Lemonade-ICS Fresh Picked Strawberry-ICS High Cotton-MC That's it for now, gotta lay off the samples!!!!!!!!!

I personally LOVED Daystar's VBN! Poured it in our 50/50, CD wicks, throw was excellent! Nice sweet straight Vanilla!! But, we also loved her Ultimate Vanilla...! Had no problems w/ throw with it, same wax combo as above... Good Luck!

Maryann, WE also had problems w/ her Spiced Cranberry, and in a tart, it is da bomb! May I ask how you did it w/ the widemouth jj's? (we use them as well, were very disappointed when we couldn't get that one to throw... )

Carol, Can you believe we could NOT get that Clothesline Fresh to throw in a jar???!!! It was soooo super strong in a tart, and OOB, but no go for us in our container wax:embarasse

A really good argument for ordering samples...I have tried some of others tried and true sents, and have had no luck...everyone has a different nose, and I guess even a small difference in wax and wicks can make a huge difference in throw and scent...costs us all a lot of money this way though!!

We did very well w/ this scent-sold lots of it w/ our winter line. We use 50/50. I loved this one!

No problem, We use the 8 oz straight round JJ's and a CD 8 wick and also a widemouth JJ w/ a CD 10. We use a 50/50 blend. HTH!

Maryann, The High Cotton is not at all like Clean Cotton, it is fresh, not soapy, and has a distinct, slightly fruity sweetness too it, it throws terrific for us, I really like it!

Forgot to add that we tested another of MC's newer scents, and it is wonderful, her High Cotton, we are re-naming it Sweet Cotton, it's fresh clean and slightly sweet, a bit fruity, but throws great!:smiley2:

Mendy, I use a 50/50 blend, and CD wicks, and I REALLY love MillCreek's Sweet Pea, it's the best I've tried, however, I personally couldn't get much throw from their Cool Cuke Melon either, I switched to Just Scent's, much stronger! I also didn't care for MillCreeks Buttercream frosting, but then, I gave up trying to find a good one of that scent... Good luck, we've all been there!!!!

Almost forgot one that I have poured that is definately a keeper of theirs, Cookies and Cream, very strong throw, awesome cookie scent, creamy, not too sweet... if you do food scents this time of year; we are doing more fruit, floral, and clean scents right now, but we have this on our permanent list for fall/winter...:smiley2:

Gaye, Poured the Honeydew Melon last night, burning today...it is wonderful, thank God! I sooooo wanted it to throw well, as it was delicious OOB, and it does! Sherri actually picked this one over another I had picked, I asked her to send me the one she thought was better, she made a great chioce! This is a keeper for sure!

I have used a few of her oils and they were quite good, plus Sherri ships quickly, and is accessible to answering any questions you might have by phone, or prompt e-mail reply: These are in 50/50, CD wicks. Not what you might be thinking about right now, but you MUST try her Snowy Pine for next Christmas! Our BIG best seller last season, as a matter of fact we are pouring a few more lbs. of tarts tonight! Fresh. light pine w/ a TOUCH of mint...WONDERFUL scent! Her Strawberry Shortcake is awesome-fresh strawberry w/ a touch of bakery, great throw! Her Carrot Cake throws great, although, it is what it says, a straight cinnamon-y carrot Cake, no frosting here, I might re-name it Spice Cake. Love her Red Delicious Apple, better that Mac Apple IMO, although, only poured a sample into tarts-they got sold quick though!! have to get another to test in jars, wonderful apple scent! More seasonal for right now, I am going to test her Honeydew Melon tonight, OOB, it is delicious:drool: , keeping fingers crossed tight that it throws well!!!! Her Water Blossom Ivy did very well for us in body sprays, green and fresh! I'd give her a try for sure! HTH!

I am sittting here at my desk waiting for the bell to ring, cause the big brown truck was already at MY house today, with my JS samples! Now w/ the 2 oz samples, I can test in tarts AND jars!!!!

We pour in my basement late at night after the children have gone to sleep (only problem there is when I have to chop up paraffin-oops!) Anyway, the place looks like a bomb hit it, my husband made us this workshop, it is now QUITE outgrown, at Christmas-time it is WORSE, and it is a huge mess-Hey, we go down there to pour, not take the time to CLEAN! That's the rest of my day!!!!

Mill Creek has Sweet Pea and Me, it may not be a dead on BBW dupe, but it threw the best by far for us in our 50/50 blend, no cure time, awesome scent, very popular, I love many of Peak's oils, but I couldn't get their Sweet Pea to throw, unfortunately...:embarasse HTH!

We sell straight 8 oz jj's and also the wide mouth 8's and 16's. Most requested jars are the 8 oz wide mouths.

Witches Brew, from C&S, we call it our patchouli, I used to like it, now can't stand it, and I think it has something to do w/ the fact that it gave me such a hard time wicking! But, OMG do folks around here love it! I took it off my line to get a break from it for awhile, and promised to offer it again in Spring...well, of course, THEY remembered I said that!!! I usually pour scents that I like, I even pick florals to offer that I like, so I am not grossed out pouring and testing them...

Don't want to sound stupid here, but here's a question: How does a piece of wood "wick" up the wax, as fuel, to keep itself lit?

That is so weird, I just saw an article about candles w/ these wicks, supposedly they make the candle "crackle" like you are in front of a fireplace, is this what you mean?

Oh No...I'm in the middle of testing new scents-caught my son's wicked head cold-great...can't smell squatta... it's almost scary how your sense of smell just shuts down! I mean, NOTHING...Booooo Hooooo... Oh, and I didn't mention, I am flying to Cancun on Sat? Guess I better rest up....

OMG, I am SO there! T, how many suppliers signed up so far? may be a stupid question, but when I checked out the site a few days ago, I only saw Heartfelt? (Which is Great, always love to try out new suppliers, but curiuos as to like, how many end up being there?) My partner and I alre already making our plans, it will be an over 6 hr. drive for us, but she drives down to Ft. Myers every summer so, that amnt. of driving is no biggie to her, thank God, cause i am not big on driving! We are probably going to drive in early Sat. AM and stay till Sun. am. When would you recommend booking the room? I mean, we're talking over 5 months from now....
