  1. If any help can be had....I think, personally, that I am screwed... Is there ANY way you can go about tracking a package that you sent Priority (No ins. No nothin') that never arrived? Or am I right...screwed...? Thanks for ANY suggestions!
  2. WOW, I sure am glad I checked into this forum...thank you for taking the time with this, it is greatly appreciated!:highfive:
  3. Hi Pocha! I absolutely LOVE Japanese Plum in 50/50, CD wicks-throws awesome w/ little to no cure time! Hopefully someone will help out that's used it in pure soy... HTH (a little!)
  4. C&S Jade (Pier one type) and MC Dreamcatcher...smelled identical OOB, I didn't bother to pour....
  5. LMAO! sometimes, Fern-Marie, I think you gotta be right!
  6. I just saw this, don't have any experience w/ this Co. but, I was just curious if anyone has tried their oils? I also only saw lb. bottles offered. I sent them a messege to see if they offer smaller or sampler packs...?
  7. Thank you for bumping this up! I have been keeping an eye out, so I don't MISS out!! Thanks again, Barncat!
  8. Thanks for the replies you guys, I sent some priority the other day, and left the PO scratching my head...It frankly made me nervous ....I am gonna read that post well Gerrie-thanks for refreshing all of our memories with that...!
  9. It cracks me up when peeps complain that our tarts are "too strong", You can't please everyone! i love a strong tart- we load ours up w/ FO, and we sell a lot of tarts! BTW- we ase a 133MP straight par, and mix in some Vybar- works great!
  10. I don't know where else to put this, so if it should be somewhere else, i apologize to whomever has to move it!:tiptoe: Can you guys tell me how SAFE it actually is to mail (ex. USPS Priority) bottles of FO? i know folks do it, heck, suppliers do it too, I see in some of the swaps that flat rate boxes are used, so folks ARE doing it, right? But, is it neccessarily safe? If any of you think not, what are you fav (and cheapest) ways to send this stuff to people?
  11. ALRIGHT!!! Got my Click and Ship e-mail from Brenda!!!!! Cannot WAIT to try out this wax and the sample of FO!!!!! Thank you Brenda!!!! :yay:
  12. AJ, thanks, I was THRILLED believe me, when I learned this! It was soooo disappointing, as we al know, trying to acheive that great throw we all want so badly! I don't get it everytime and w/ every oil, I wish I could. It is a mystery to me how we all get different results w/ this craft, ya know? Even if we try to duplicate all possible variables, it's almost an impossible task! (but an awesome addiction!)
  13. I have personnaly found a huge difference in the amount of scent throw and the type of wick used. When I was using zinc wicks for my soy/par blend, I was very dissapointed in the hot throw of my containers. I found that they required a long cure time to get ANY kind of a good throw! After lots of reading here, I decided that maybe the zincs weren't buring HOT enough for my wax blend (I was using quality oils as well, and definately enough of a FO load!) I started using CD wicks (Heinz coreless) and lo and behold- scent throw at last! Now, I'm not saying that this is magic by any means, and we definately test each combination of wax and FO- but on the whole, I am getting a much better, AND a much FASTER throw, by using the hotter buring wicks in my particular wax. That being said, with straight paraffin, however, you should be able to use zincs, as long as you're achieving a good melt pool, and are using quality oils as AJ said, you should be ok... HTH!
  14. Yea, it's weird, they burn down to the bottom fast, not exactly tunnel, they ARE just so squat, like Angela said, I guess maybe I'd better listen to my instincts and not go there...Maybe it would be a good jar to intro. peeps to wickless! I know already folks like the look of them! Angela, do you sell these wickless? If so, can I ask what you price them at? They are an 8 oz, so do you price hem the same as your wicked?
  15. A big vote over here for ICS Japanese Plum. We color that a very light lavender/ burgundy color, but it could definately go pink, awesome scent, and a great seller!
  16. Thanks Angela, they are adorable, and I have been melting the rest of my Japanese Plum tester on a plate since it had so darn much hang-up! I'd like to experiment w/ them maybe for next winter's scents, probably have to double wick....BOO...:undecided
  17. They are the Contemporary Ball Masons- they have the platinum lids-8oz, VERY cute compared to the widemouth 8's, but considering their dimensions, and the fact that they are kinda square, I'm not deluding myself into thinking they'd be easy to wick, either! Below the band (fill line) is about 3 1/4 ", then it gets to 4 1/4", w/ corners... So far CD 12 doesn't seem like it'll do it...dreaded double wicking maybe? and if so (sigh) any ideas for me? :undecided I use 50/50 blend... Thanks a lot!!
  18. Welllll....I'd say you can be sure at this point that a waste of time it would not be!!! I would LOVE to pour over your thoughts! WOW! Thanks for offering to do this!
  19. OMG! Strong! NO cure time, it's a house filler!
  20. Alright, Islandgirl!! Thank you Brenda, again, for such a wonderful offer!!! I sure don't mind waiting, it adds to the excitement!!!
  21. Hi Islandgirl, No, you are not still waiting alone! I STILL get a bit excited when I check out my mail box everyday...I asked for my sample going on 2 months ago...oh, well, maybe Brenda is still trying to catch up! We can still hope, right?
  22. We used Peak's last year, aand this spring we tried MC's Lilac Breeze-it's been selling amazingly well w/ the floral lovers!
