  1. Any interest in Silicone log molds from here? http://www.woodfieldswood.com/ If so, I will email them and see if we can get a discount on multiple molds. Personally, I am interested in: Replacement Liner-12"Lx3 5/8"Wx2 1/2"H Single & Dbl. Log Molds I figure I can build my own cases for them and not have to pay shipping on the weight of the wood.
  2. What CoOps are going on this year? I am willing to pick up for anyone wanting something from Backwoods, if they aren't going to be there.

  9. Cut the Native Princess please. I just did mine today with Bronze Mica & Orange Passion Mica. They are pretty close in color wet. Wondering how close when read to cut. Rowan's up tomorrow with CYb's Dusty Rose & Sweet Potato. Unfortunately, I only have 1 silicone log mold. The rest are slabs. Time to purchase me some more silicone logs.
  10. While I have never tried that particular recipe, I have used less FBB, so it can be done. Since the recipe is for a stick, you wouldn't really be whipping it for volume anyways. I use a narrow top 4c measuring cup when I do it. HTH

  15. Let it set at least 24 hours and then try it.
  16. Nope cuz even if it doesn't say to add a preservative, I still add it. I even add preservative to body butters made with all butters and oils. I know what NOT to do... but once it leaves my hands, I have no control over how it is handled.
  17. Yesterday, I was able to open my Soapmaker with no problems. This morning I keep getting error codes. When I try to open it, it comes up with the following error message: 3343-Unrecognized database format 'C:\Origram Files\Soapmaker\Soapdata.mdb' .0-DAO.Workspace Any ideas why?
  18. Can you post a pic. It may be coming from the icing but growing on the bomb. I use a preservative in anything that has water in it. Or is highly likely to come in contact with water.
  19. I have powdered goat milk that I keep in the freezer. Stays fine for me there.
  20. I melt mine with an EO blend I make. Takes a couple of days to melt in the EOs. I shake it every now and again. Be careful, the usage rate is not very high. But they do feel good.
  21. I don't use MP in mine. The ingredient list bothers me to use it. Just me. Others have used it with success.
  22. Those are nice elliebelle. How did you make your frosting?
  23. But if you skip the colored MP and put/pour a small melt there to harden, it may be more moisturizing. Mebbe if I have time this weekend, I will whip up a batch to see if it will work.
  24. You could try the bath melt in the middle where the coloring is. That may work.
