    You're doing better then me......the frosting still crops up on the reds and browns from time to time especially if they experience temp fluctuations like being at a farmer's market. You can check with Elevance but I heard Genwax is carrying it now too.

    I just heard Elevance came out with a new soy container blend that is supposed to address frosting, sinkholes, wetspots and still have a good HT and CT called Elite-200. Comes in slab form. Am I dreaming this or what!! Anyone try it yet?? Thx Brenda

    Green Tea....well whatever it was patterned after I liked it, it threw well and I added it to my line but now it appears to be missing on her site Sent an email to find out the status since I have a large pending wholesale order I may need it for...if it's gone for good, anyone know of one that's similar. I also tried Millcreek's but that one didn't burn or throw well in my jar.... Thx Brenda

    I ordered from Fillmore.....ended up with a pallet (11 boxes) and even with shipping it was less than what I was getting it for at the Jar Store...so I'm happy. The quality is good...boxes nicely sealed and it's behaving well. I've had my share of funky boxes from various suppliers and this was the first time ordering C3 from Fillmore so I'll be going back when I'm ready for more.

    I'm thinking about purchasing a Cooger or RiteHete Direct Heat Wax Melter and I'm wondering what the pros and cons on vs sticking with my turkey fryer. I'm thinking I will get more even heating and temperature control as well as be able to heat more wax. Not sure if that will turnout a better looking candle. Anyone have any info they would like to share if you've made the switch or a preference over either brand? Thanks Brenda

    Thanks, I'm actually testing NG's Hot Orange Danish now and it is good but I wanted more orange and less danish.....may have to order their HOCP,,,would love to get a review in C3 first though...anyone?

    Just wanted to provide some feedback on Peak's Lilac....it is really strong in C3....used 6% and could probably cut back....I think it's one of the strongest scents I've tested to date...

    I've been approached by a customer to make a candle for her Relay for Life Team. They are going to sell and then place orders with me but also wanted me to make it available on my website. My question is how to handle the sales tax....I can make it a tax exempt item through my shopping cart but is that still legit if being purchased by individuals vs by the RFL Team and then resold? I'm pretty new to this fundraiser stuff so any insight is much appreciated. Thx Brenda

    I'm trying to decide between CS's Green Tea and Lemongrass or Bert's Green Tea.....They both seem to have decent reviews. I use C3 so if anyone has used them with this wax and could comment on burn and HT that would be great...

    Well I may have spoke too soon, the NG HOD is throwing pretty good now...maybe it needed a few days to cure. I'm still not loving the Bamboo Grass though, smells like men's aftershave....I was looking for more of a spa scent with that one. Also got a sample of the Cucumber Splash, the scent is nice but with it was stronger.

    Thanks Karen....I actually did try CMS Hot Orange Danish and agree it was really strong but I'm trying to limit my fo purchases to 4-5 suppliers and just didn't want to add another, may have to revisit though...

    Thanks everyone for all the nice feedback......I have been filling it up quickly....25 dozen jars the other day arrived and I just ordered 11 cases of C3 from Fillmore Funny story....needed to wash jars the other day and started to carry the boxes up to the kitchen...my husband said why aren't you using your new sink... I had totally forgotten I had one...

    I'm testing these in C3 straight soy and I was expecting alot better HT based on the forum feedback. Anyone have input on cure time .... I use 6% load.... Thx Brenda

    Final Decision: Sticking with C3....I just don't think it's worth it for me to switch based on the fo's I use. I will say the Xcel does make a nice looking candle and melts for that matter. I will use up the rest of my Ecosoya CBA and Xcel for melts but just wasn't that impressed with the HT and/or seepage issues to go through retesting all my scents. Looks like Fillmore has decent shipping on C3 if I order larger quantities so while I wish the Jar Store still carried it locally, I found a good substitute. HTH

    I used to purchase KY's but since I purchase more FO's from NG, I switched to that one and think it's just as strong and similar smelling to KY's...
