So I turned 60 this year and I'm seriously starting to think about how much longer I want to run my business. I would prefer to see all my hard work continue by someone buying it vs selling off assets however what's the best way to sell without compromising your customer base? I've gone thru the valuation and have a good feel for what I can get so it's more where to advertise? It's not worth going thru a broker so if anyone has gone down this road, I'd appreciate some advice. Thank you!! I've been with this forum since before I started in 2007 and I so appreciate the help and advice from the people on here.

I also called and did a preorder on Ocean and Coconut Lime which I was told would be back in stock in a week and a half. I point blank asked if they were going out of business. I was assured the problems are still related to stocking the second warehouse and I was assured by the customer service rep should be getting better. For now I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!!!

Thank PhoenixFryre.....I use Aztec so I'll check to see if they have Lilac and Ocean too.......I do remember trying many Coconut Lime's before I settled on Peaks....ugh, why can't they just get their act together!

I emailed them and asked them Point Blank what the heck is going on....I hope they are upfront. In the meantime, I have no choice but to start looking for dups which we all know is a royal pain to have to retest etc.

I think Fragrance Buddy's Salty Mariner is very similar to Peak's Ocean....anyone else? They also have a Lilac and Coconut Lime Verbena so not sure if they're the same. I just emailed FB and NG looking for some help with dups and also Peak to ask what the heck is going on......Peak is also one of the most expensive suppliers I use and to have to deal with inventory issues isn't cutting it.

And the problems with Peak Fragrances being out of stock continue.....Lilac is finally back in stock and Coconut Lime and Ocean our out. I'm ready to start looking for other suppliers on these fragrances....This has consistently been happening for almost a year. If anyone has some good alternatives, I'd love to hear about them. I have a fundraiser coming up and two of their fragrances are on my list......very frustrating!!!!

Happy New Year all.... A customer has asked about Yankee's discontinued Apple Spice scent. Check FOF for a dup, nothing, did a search here, nothing. Anyone know if a dup exists?? Not at all familiar with the fragrance but she said it was amazing...Thx!!

Anyone find a stock box or paper tube that's a good fit for a Libbey 11oz Tumbler, Jar Size: 3.5 high x 3.25 wide So far it's seems a 4"x4" is the closest I'm going to get and then I guess some filler so it fits snug. CS has some window boxes I haven't ruled out but would rather not have a window and add a label to the box. Thanks for any help. Brenda

Personally I would never sell a candle in a questionable container including antique tea cups or the latest fad hand cut beer booze bottles. They can have stress fractures along the cut edge and fail. There are so many nice safe containers why take the chance. I just came across a candle making class by a candle company using these leaf votive holders. These are designed for tea lights not to be wicked. https://www.divaentertains.com/acorn-themed-candle-favors.html This same company makes and sells candles in Coconut Shells....I hope they have good Product Liability Insurance!!

Thanks @Moonstar ...I did do some research on the board and there's lots of positive feedback on SC Fresh Mown Hay but really wanted to know how it compares to NG Hayride...stronger, more realistic. I didn't think Hayride was that authentic. @moonshine can you weigh in?

I ordered NG Hayride for my customer to review and they didn't like it....said it was too light. These people run a Draft Horse Rescue Organization so I'll take them at their word. How does Sweetcakes compare to NG's.... I noticed it's pretty pricey so don't want to really order just for them to sniff and say nope. Thx Brenda

Thank you Jcandleattic appreciate the suggestion. I was able to get a quote for jars from the Jar Store and still searching for the box.....stay tuned. Thinking this will go nowhere and take way too much time quoting but what can you do. Brenda

A customer is looking for a 7 oz jar (tumbler type) jar. What's everyones goto supplier for this size. I use the Libbey 11oz but not familiar with a 7oz so much. Also looking for a rigid round custom box with lid to put it in which will need to be printed with a logo. I've been googling suppliers but would love a starting point. Thank you

A customer has asked if I carry Pepperberry Wreath.....I don't but I'm also wondering if I carry anything similar. I have no idea what is smells like. I did a quick search and found someone said it's similar to Mistletoe, is that correct? If so, would it be CS's Mistletoe because I do carry that.... As always, your help is very appreciated! Brenda

Ok good to know.....need to see if this customer is serious about this private label before I go crazy.....alot of time and money if they don't proceed.

Thanks.....while I've got you since you know about so many fragrances.....any idea who has a Sweet Tea that rocks. A southern customer is requesting and I'm not sure what it would be like.
