  2. Any other reviews for Mr. Missy FOs??? They're having an awesome sale and I want to try some more! TIA
  3. Received my FOs last week and was very impressed as well! They were nicely packed and came in white HDPE bottles, which I prefer. I got Cedar Patchouli, Powdered Sugar, Lemon Lime, Apple Crisp, Spearmint and a few others, I haven't poured yet. I use J233 for my candles and a parrafin blend for my tarts. The only one I've wicked so far was the Cedar Patchouli. I've only made tarts with the others. Had to wick up one on the CP but it burned and threw beautifully. Very unique scent. Reminds me of a mans cologne. The Powdered Sugar is wonderful! Has a slight bakery note to it though. I'll probably call it Powdered Sugar Cookies. The Lemon Lime is awesome and is super strong! True smelling with the lime being a little stronger than the lemon. Didn't detect any lemon pledge smell at all. I liked the Apple Crisp but thought it was a little on the milder side. Wish there was a sharper apple note to it. The Spearmint is totally awesome!!! SUPER strong and very realistic smelling. Sweet but not candy-ish. Very refreshing! Received very good CS and will be ordering more.
  4. Saw this one on Etsy the other day. It looks pretty similar:http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12837327
  5. Those are absolutely gorgeous! I'd say they look earthy and natural. I especially like the colors in the 4th picture down... Just beautiful!
  6. LOL MY SIL heard this somewhere too and decided to try mixing one of my Pumpkin and Lavender tarts together, on her own. She and my brother had some friends over when she did this and she emailed me the next day to tell me that it didn't work. I guess she told all of the ladies what the scent was supposed to do and then she called them the next day...Not one of them got lucky but she said it smelled good. lol
  7. That never crossed my mind...I just figured she was some kind of version of a shop-aholic. lol
  8. I banned a "customer" and blocked her email just recently. For months she "ordered" like clock work every 2 weeks. I'd go through all the trouble of figuring out her shipping and sending her a money request through PayPal and I'd never hear a word back from her till her next "order" (They were always a little different). lol I emailed her several times to ask if there was some kind of problem but she wouldn't respond to those emails either... I have no idea how she feels about being banned, since I blocked her email address. lol
  9. It's not much cheaper on their website but you might find something else you like. http://www.midwestmolds.com/store/WsDefault.asp?One=549
  10. I leave wax in mine all the time (and turn it off) but try to make sure it's only a few inches or so... When you start it back up, you have to make sure you re-heat it very SLOWLY and make sure to keep the lid on it. A lot of times, the wax will spurt out like a little volcano and you can make a heck of a mess, if the lid isn't on it. I learned this first hand. lol
  11. You might try checking out Madina...Here's just one for example: http://www.madinaonline.com/items.asp?Cc=B90&iTpStatus=0&Tp=&Bc=
  12. I get the ones with pewter lids from Tennesee. Great CS. http://tennesseecandlesupplies.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=10_12_14
  13. You'll need an 11,766 square inch piece of material, to totally cover the table and have all the sides hang to the floor. HTH:wink2:
  14. I'm wondering what kind of material the molds are made out of??? Some of them stink to high heaven, until they're used several times (Like the yellow rubber ones)... Can't believe cigarette smoke would stick like that to them, without something like vinegar being able to remove the smell.
  15. Was this the site maybe? http://jagsmolds-candles.bizhosting.com/wash_cloth_silicone_mold.html
  16. Love the one with the strawberries on it! Very unique.
  17. Yep. Best place on the net as far as I'm concerned. Awesome stuff and she's wonderful to work with too! Here's the link to her wholesale site: http://www.stonestewsouth.com/rosehips/index.html Forgot to mention that she doesn't have a minimum order either.
  18. They look great, but I hope those aren't paper cupcake liners I see inside the ramkins...
  19. Wow, that's a lot of $$$! Was that just for tart molds, or are you making custom lids too? The shape and size of them remind me of jar lids a little... I'd loved to have custom lids made, but just can't justify the extra cost. :undecided
  20. Those are really nice! I ordered something with a new business venture name on it a few months ago from Ginger at Flexiblemolds.com...They're a little on the prim side, but it fits with the business. lol The camera flash makes the writing a little hard to see, but it shows up really good in person. I'm going to hand them out as freebies during the grand opening. They're about 3" X 1 3/4" and weigh about an ounce. She only charges a one time $25 set up fee and you get one mold with that. I got a total of 7 molds for less than $50. I think it's a great deal. http://www.flexiblemolds.com/hang_tags.htm
  21. Depends on the wax your using, but for 1 lb of wax, try 1 drop of orange with just a tiny touch of red as Scented described.
  22. Here are a few links I had saved on how to make these: http://www.watersorb.com/polymer_cool_neck_bands.htm http://www.aquadiamonds.com/neck_coolers.htm
  23. If that candle is meant to be burned all the way down, I'm thinking the same thing you are. lol That oatmeal is just too real to be embeds. I think they used the real thing just for the picture. You can grind wax really fine to make the sugar (white or brown) and add some glass "sugar" glitter to it. The closest thing I think to making oatmeal like this would be soy wax flakes dusted with a little cinnamon.
  24. Love those! Perfect Valentine's Day gifts. Great job!
  25. Very Cute! You have a real talent for dressing up those bears.
