  1. I was just looking into adding some scent to my cocoa butter, I use so much of it I figured why not spruce it up!
  2. I make and sell candles but I have a question, I use alot of cocoa butter, has anyone ever added FO to cocoa butter, if so how did it turn out? -Ellie
  3. I was just asking because CS just had their 1oz FO samples for .99 (which is awesome) for a week..so I was thinking that other companies might also have sales like that. Thanks -Ellie
  4. Does anyone know if Peak ever has a sale on their 1oz FO?? -Ellie
  5. TN? I am sorry I am not sure what TN is.
  6. I put in an order last monday and the only thing out of stock was love spell, I put in another order yesterday around 3pm and I only noticed 1 thing out of stock, which was clean cotton. Everyone must have waited to put their last minute orders in all at once, which put alot out of stock. That is why when CS has one of these sales it is good to get your order in ASAP and if you notice anything is out of stock wait until the next day and it should be available again, but if you wait until the last day to order most likely your not going to get the stuff you wanted. -Melissa
  7. oops! this post was the newest one so I just replied not realizing this is a really old post, my bad
  8. I am not going to be harsh you, although what you are doing is wrong. If you don't test these candles and you give them over to this lady, what happens if people buy them and bring them back to the store because there is something wrong with them?? That will make the woman who owns the store look bad and it will make you look even worse. Testing is very important in candle making especially if you are selling them. I just recently started making candles and I have a festival coming up in May and I feel like that may not even be enough time and I only plan on taking about 75 candles, how are you going to do it in 4 days? I know where you are coming from though, that is awesome that somebody wants to buy your candles and sell them in their store, but if you ask for alittle bit more time maybe atleast an extra 2 weeks I am sure she would understand. Tell her that you have encountered a problem with that size jar and you need some extra time to make them perfect!
  9. I use the bottom as the top because it looks smoother and in my opinion they look more professional. HTH -Ellie
  10. I Love it, it looks great! What size labels do you use for the top of your jars?
  11. How would 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" work for the 8oz Jelly Jars? Im sorry this is the first time I have ever used labels and I am trying to figure out what would look the best.
  12. What size candle label should I use on 8 oz. Smooth Jelly Jars?
  13. does anyone know where to find good but cheap jelly jars?? I have heard from others that they have found them for 5.00 for 12 of them (including lids)...the cheapest I have found is about 8.00 per dozen.
  14. I had no problem with the shipping, my package was about 25 lbs, I live in PA and the cost for shipping was $13. To me that is normal for a package this size, I ordered on Monday afternoon and had the package Wednesday afternoon. This was by the far the fastest shipping I have had so far. If you have a package over 50 lbs and you ordered online the shipping calculator could have been alittle off, if you are placing a large order the best thing to do is order by phone. I believe it says something on the websites when placing orders that the shipping is an estimate and may not always be accurate 100% accurate. I will be ordering from candle science again, I can not wait to sample more of their FO! I am sorry that some of you had bad experiences.
