  1. Thanks AlaJane, I haven't been in Dollar Tree for quite sometime. Having back surgery tomorrow so this back thing has kept me from getting out and about. Maybe when I'm up and ready to get out again I'll check at the Dollar Tree's around here and see what I can find. Thank you!
  2. Hello everyone, I live in Alabama and I am looking for the cheapest place to buy Metro Jars. The only supplier close to me is Alabaster but they don't carry them. That is too bad because I would love to be able to pick them up instead of paying shipping. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Connie
  3. Hi Chuck! I see you are from "Sweet Home Alabama" also! Where are you from.....Cordova? Sorry, don't remember if thats right or not but what town are you close to? I am in Athens, just West of Huntsville. Do you have a website? What kind of products do you sell? I used to make and sell candles years ago but gave it up because of back problems. I am getting ready to have my 3rd back surgery next week. I am hoping that once I am fully recovered I can get back into candlemaking. I love it! Anyway, thanks for your reply, I had seen the APOP wax advertised and was just wondering about it. Do you get supplies from Alabaster? I wish they had a better selection of jars and waxes. Would love to try some of the Palm waxes, wish they would carry those. Trying to buy my wax and containers from them so I can drive to pick up since shipping is such a b***h on those things! Later! Connie
  4. Hello Everyone! Was just wondering if anyone on this board has ever tried APOP wax? If so, what are your opinions (pro's and con's)? Thank You! Connie OOPS! Think I posted this on the wrong forum....sorry!
  5. Hello everyone! I was reading posts on the old board and came across this picture in the gallery. Was wondering if anyone knows where I could find this detailed mold for the orange slices? I love this candle (posted by Lelamark). Any ideas? I've seen orange slice molds but none this detailed.
  6. JMO but I like J50 better than J223, for me the scent throw is better.
  7. Hmmm.....I have LOTS that I hate to pour. Most floral scents I hate....especially ROSE, it just makes me want to throw up! My best friend abolutely loves FRENCH MARKET and I hate pouring that, it is absolutely the best way to start my gag reflex. When pour that it seems like that is all I smell for days! Hate Patchouli & /Sandlewood. There are more I hate but I might end up writing a book. The ones I hate I don't pour unless someone asks for them.
  8. I'm with Chuck.....I have no idea what you guys are talking about but I would love to know the specifics....what, when, where???? Please let us know, I would love to attend. Connie
  9. Hello Everyone! Just found this board yesterday so I've been reading and reading and reading....well, you get it! Anyway, I have a question about wickless candles. How long does the scent last on these? Wouldn't it be kind of like a tart? They only have so many hours before the FO doesn't smell anymore. When you burn a candle that is wicked, say an 8 oz jar that burns for 50 or 60 hours, then you get that wonderful fragrance until the wax has burned all the way down. But with the wickless candles since they are being heated and melted like the tarts does that mean the scent isn't going to last as long as a regular candle? Really pondering on this. Wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if ALL candles were wickless candles.....that means I wouldn't have any more wicking problems! So if anyone could answer this for me I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much! Connie
