  1. Mandi at Designer 218 is without a doubt the best! She has the best customer service and is a super sweet gal. You would not be sorry if you went with her. Rae
  2. Welcome to the forum. Great people here and you can learn a lot here.
  3. It came with a basket, but I don't put it in.
  4. Really nice. Did you carve that into the pillar?
  5. What kind of turkey fryer do you have? I have a Masterbuilt and I don't have a "kettle" to put inside of it. Just curious. I have had the air bubbles before because I can see wax that sprayed the glass lid.
  6. Those are the prettiest soaps yet. You all have been very busy this week and it certainly paid off. Keep up all the good work!
  7. Very nice and I love your jars.
  8. Just curious if anyone got their tester.

  10. Beautiful packaging! You are very talented. :yay: Rae
  11. Thanks, Soapbuddy! I would be okay with it being white if it didn't have the swirl marks in the white that was supposed to be red. At first I thought it was lye and then realized it wasn't. I just made another one that is a brighter red and we will see how it comes out when I take it out tomorrow.
  12. Billie, you are sweet, but let's face it, swirls with no color isn't very pretty. Guess we can ad this batch to the many others that are just for friends, family and us to bathe with. I am going to try it again. I sure hate wasting all these oils. Rae
  13. Thanks, Carrie. The color is more like crystals and I mixed it with glycerin. I thought it was for cp soap. Guess I will try it again but with celestial color. Thanks! Rae
  14. This soap was done in Peak's Purely Peppermint, colored with Snowdrift's FD & C Red #40. I swirled in the bowl and poured into log mold. There was color throughout the mold. I put the log on posts so air could get around it and did not cover the mold in hope the trees would not sink. Well, the trees did not sink, but the color is gone in the soap. The only color is on top, bottom and the sides. Can anyone guess as to what happened other than the soap fairies are at my home? Thanks for any help! Rae
  15. Way to go, Elaine. You did an awesome job!:yay::yay: Rae
