Hi Laura, Thanks for your reply. I am using the e-z wick setting tool. I thought my wicks were stiff enough. If I look on the bottom, though, I can clearly see that the bottom isn't centered. The tool seems snug enough on my jars.
I am having difficulty getting my wicks centered consistently. I’ve been testing waxes, wicks and fragrances for the last two years and this is my last remaining hurdle. I’m using a wick setter, but about half the time the wicks are off center. What am I doing wrong?
Two of my favorite scents aren't selling and I believe it's due to their name. People like it when it's burning, but they don't buy it when they see it on the shelf. So, any suggestions for names for Sugar Corn Pudding and Amish Quilt?
I've been testing with 6006 for the past year, but have been thinking about trying the 4627. I'm rethinking after reading all of the comments. But, would adding vybar to the 4627 make it a little harder and help with wicking?
It's made by homespunheartprim on etsy. If she doesn't have it listed, just send her a private message telling her you're interested and she'll let you know when she lists it. Her molds are expensive, but very unique and nice. Her ornament molds start at $25.00 each. Have fun! Nancy
Look up her group on facebook (what's in your burner) and click on the discussions tab. She has lists of candle companies, tart companies, etc. Maybe everyone should join her group and then post what she's doing!
That seems high to me. I buy my base from candlemakers store and it works out to be about .14 per ounce. I also purchase my bottles and sprayers from them for .64 total.
