I use OMH from Bubbles N Lights and it holds its scent far better than any other scents I've tried so far. (I did this in CP.) Everyone seems to like it the best too.
If I was going to sell it, I would do a minimum size of 8 oz. I do an 8 oz. size and personally use it about every day. A 4 oz. size wouldn't last very long at my house. I think Bunny had a 16 oz. size in the swap and I really liked that size.
I had never even heard of soapwort. I learned something new too! I just couldn't understand how you could make soap without the lye. Thanks all for jumping in here and explaining that. It all makes sense!
I had a customer ask me if I made organic or natural products. I did a search on the internet to see what the ingredients were in these soaps. I couldn't find where they listed the lye in the ingredients. They only list the oils & butters. Is this legal? I would think they would have to list the lye. Is lye concidered natural? I would think it was a chemical. Can you make soap without lye?
I've been using this method for about 4 weeks now. I use about 2/3 castor oil and the other 1/3 is a mix of jojoba & olive oil plus a little tea tree eo. I love how it works on my face. I have oily skin on my face and it is a lot less oily now. I recommend this method to anyone.
