    I have several cases of paraffin that I have had for several years that I purchased from a closeout and they are just fine. I also have container wax from a few years back and it looks and works just great. I don't think it has an expiration date.

    I just keep mine in a closet that is only designated for them. Just don't leave them out in the sun, that is really the only thing I can say.

    My mom and I both have rosacea and I have been trying to find a good easy recipe that I can whip up that may help. Has anyone ever made a effective rosacea cream/serum or mask? Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA Branda

    That isn't normal from my experience. Are you mixing the fragrance throughly? Are you adding enough fragrance? There could be many factors. Make sure you aren't overheating your soap and I always add my colorant before my fragrance, I just add a drop or two and before I stir that I add the fragrance oil and I mix until the colorant is fully incorporated then I know that I throughly mixed my fragrance as well.

    I am not sure of any oil that you could sub for sulfonated castor oil since it is the only oil that I can think of that can easyily mix with water as well as oil based products without the use of an emulsifier.

    Since they both have the same sort of properties, I would guess that only one would be needed to make an effective facial serum. Try it both ways and see which you like better.

    Nothing is wrong with the flavor oils, flavor oils are just fragrance oils that are lip safe. Unless they have sweetener added, then they will just taste bitter, all of them I have are like that. Just add sweetener and the lip balms will taste better. I personally don't like sweeteners in my lip balms because they make you lick your lips too much, therefore resulting in dryer lips, so I just add the unsweetened flavor oils. Never had a complaint.

    I love $1 stores! I usually make a trip once a month or every two months to all the $1 stores around town and I am always finding something to "play" with. They have tons of things that you can use for embeds, containers, etc. I also get packaging ideas with the b&b products that they have so when I make my trips I bring my camera with me and take pics of the packaging and try to turn them into something unique and that's mine. My dh thinks I am crazy!! :rolleyes2 LOL Big Hugs, Branda

    I think everyone ruins a few when they first try to use them, heck, even if I am using them reguarly, I still ruin a few here and there. Shrink wrapping is definitely an art form in itself. LOL Big Hugs, Branda
